The Avett Brothers always bring pure energy to their shows. This is my third Avett show. The crowd was not as energetic as what I've experienced at other smaller venues. The Keith Albee Theatre is the most stunning theater I have been in. The architecture coupled with the starry ceiling (lights - some flashing slowly) creates a phenomenal environment. Seeing the inside of the theater is worth the price of admission.

As always, a fun and lively show. No one seems to have more fun on stage than the Avetts and they didn't disappoint. I'm a new Avett follower and I've been to only 2 shows (both this year), but I always walk away laughing and singing and checking the schedule for the next nearest show.

These boys have an eclectic infusion of bluegrass, rock, beautiful ballads and wonderful harmonies and I would highly recommend checking them out.

The Halloween show at the Ryman was well worth the drive and the money. I have seen this band three times in concert, and everytime I see them, I am blown away. The history of the Ryman and the intimacy that you feel with a smaller venu does not compare with any of the larger venues. The Avett Brothers are a telented, genuine group of guys that restore my faith for good music in today's time.

This was an incredible show! I can't stress that enough. They fuse folk and bluegrass with grunge and rock so effortlessly. Very energetic and raw while being beautiful and sweet at the same time...one of the best live acts I've ever seen!

The Avett Brothers put on a great show with tons of energy.

The screaming fans drown out the vocals a little.

The Ryman Auditorium could have used some air flow.

Thank you Avett Brothers for a GREAT Halloween show. I look forward to seeing you again.

having never been to a concert at the famed ryman auditorium before, i knew that i was in for a great experience. things that friends had told me about the venue were true - the space was so intimate and i'm pretty sure that every seat in the house could see and hear the entire performance clearly... and what a show to see in this venue! both the opening band and the avetts were so excited to be playing the ryman on halloween night and the energy produced was infectious. can't wait to go back to see another show at the ryman and the avett brothers, wherever they play next.

I thought it was a excellent show. They dressed up as the 3 amigos and it was hilarious. They had a lot of energy and I felt that they kept the crowd entertained very well. Also I thought they did an excellent job on mixing up the songs between their new and past albums. I would definitely go back and see them again at the Ryman. Hands down one of the best show I've seen.

.....of thousands of Avett Brothers fans. I actually bought my ticket to go see Nicole Atkins, who opened for the Avett Brothers in Nashville. I had become a big fan of Nicole's as a result of her Direct TV concert special a year ago. I did not know anything about the Avett Brothers prior to the announcement by Nicole that she would be touring with them. I went to the concert figuring that if I didn't like the Avett Brothers, that I would just leave. As it turned out, I never sat down during their performance (nor did anyone else at the Ryman Auditorium that night). From the moment the curtain opened, I was bowled over. This turned out to be one of the best concerts that I have ever attended, and I've been going to shows since the early 70's. I have never been to see a show where EVERYONE stood throughout the entire thing! I will most definitely go see them again in the future. Just amazing! To sum it all up, a lot of people went to the Ryman Auditorium Oct 31 to see the Avett Brothers and became Nicole Atkins fans. I went to the Ryman to see Nicole Atkins and became an Avett Brothers fan!

i saw the avett brothers last year at the war memorial auditorium and they blew my mind so when i found out they were playing the "legendary" ryman on halloween it sounded like it might kinda rock or be a total recipe for disaster. i ended up leaving half way through the show.
it wasn't the band--they actually were great. it just didn't sound so great in the ryman. this is not the first time i have had a less then stellar experience at the ryman. most of the rock or louder bands they have sound god awful in this room and it's not the band, it's they venue.
it was a total let down and i have to say that 90% of the time the shows at the ryman are not worth the money.

The Avett Brothers put on a great show, when I could hear them. I was looking forward to seeing great musicians and songwriters at the Holy Church of Bluegrass, but the atmosphere of the Ryman was lost on the crowd all decked out in their costumes. When the band started, I could hardly hear them for the screaming like the Beatles had made an apperance. Still, I'm glad I could say I was there and got a Hatch Show Print to prove it.

This was my first Avett concert and will definitely not be the last. Me & a friend traveled from Indy to Huntington, WV to see them and it was worth every mile we drove. They were so involved with the audience, their energy was through the roof, they even sounded better live, their proving to be my new favorites. Just an amazing show!!
