Grace Potter & the Nocturnals put on one hell of a show! First of all, they sound even better live than recorded, so if you're at all into their music, just do it. They are road warriors, with a seemingly endless tour. Their sound is SO GOOD, defying genre. And holy smoke, Grace Potter is a flaming ball of energy. That woman never stops -- she dances around the stage in super high heels while singing, and energy pours from her body while playing guitar or organ. A seriously top notch entertainer, Grace is a delight. Her talent and hard work are stunning -- do yourself a favor and see them live.

As usual, it was a very high energy show from Grace Potter & The Nocturnals. The band is really expanding the arrangements, but maintaining direction and focus. They are incredibly tight and playing very well together. Having seen this band several times now over the last five years, they are really maturing and turning in to an amazing rock and roll show. Grace's vocals have always been the big draw, but the band is right there with her now. Massively dynamic with in every song, I cannot recommend this band enough.

It's rare when a live show transends from a night of entertainment into a shared experience that is seared into the memories of everyone there, including the band. Grace Potter and the smoking Nocturnals were pure energy last night at the 20th Century and nobody there will ever forget it. If you can catch this band in a small venue do it now. Gigs in small venues are about to end for Grace Potter. This is the most exhilerating show that I have seen in years. The new material played like instant classics, the covers were spot on and the older material was super charged. I'm looking to see where I can catch them again before this tour ends.

Grace Potter controlled the stage with her southern rock-esque songs and jazzy vocals. The Nocturnals turned out some incredible instrumental, especially guitar, solos. The atmosphere was electric.

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals were amazing. Best concert I have been to in years. Her voice is absolutely captivating. Her energy on stage and her ability to maintain such voice quality while displaying her energy is unbelievable. Not only does she have a powerful voice but she show cased her musical instrument talent with the various instruments she played. The band rocked it out too with their talents. Awesome concert, can't wait to see them again!

Grace Potter & The Nocturnals were so good. I took my daughter for her birthday and she loved them. They took audience requests online and played those songs first. They really blew me away when they came out and did the last set singing Tom Petty.
Grace is truly amazing singer and very talented and the band is amazing. Would see them again.

This was our first chance to see Grace Potter/Nocturnals live. They didn't disappoint. Very showy and entertaining. I almost couldn't take my eyes off of Scott. Not only is he a rocking guitar player, but he is sporting a new and svelte look (ooh la la). Of course, my husband was loving Grace with her very short skirt and long beautiful legs.
We very much enjoyed the concert. It is just a shame there were some very rude and inconsiderate guests attending this show. Sorry, but if you want a good place to stand, get there early. It was totally inappropriate that a couple was saving a place for eight guests who waited to arrive at the very start of Grace's show (there was an opening act). It started a fight and could have ended worst than it did. Some people just think they are so entitled--"we paid for a ticket too." Give me a break.
Anyway, can't wait to see her again. If they come back to the NorVA, we will probably try to arrive early enough to get a place at the balcony. Loved their entire show. Thought I would be sad to see the bass had changed, but he was very good.

I thought that she was more of a bluesy soulfully type singer. What i got was Pat Benatar meets Joan Jett. A lot of posing as if to say look at me "woman power". So if your into that sort of thing you'll love it. I gave her a high rating because she was good and energetic and the music was decent. Just expected something else...

Never have i seen/heard one person with so much energy and so much talent all in one!!! She was amazing - played for a solid two hours ...... if you ever have the chance to see her, make sure you take it!!!

I was not very familiar with this band, but I had heard the name before and we only get so many recognizable groups at the Norva. They had a great set (about 2 hours) with lots of energy and changes of pace. Of course, Grace Potter sells her attractiveness, but she has a very good voice and plays multiple instruments during the course of the show.

This was a great rock and roll show. Grace owned that crowd from the start. The band was tight and the production level was high. They played a good combination of original and cover songs. Grace channeled Grace Slick when she sang White Rabbit. They did a great job with Cinnamon Girl and ended strong with American Girl. The crowd loved the original music too. The light show and other effects combined with the hard driving rock made for a good old fashioned Rock and Roll show. I would strongly recommend them to a friend and I would see them again every chance I get.

and was not prepared for the awsome stage presence, vocals and great energy that is Grace Potter. I enjoyed the band and stage lighting. The Norva was the perfect up close and personal venue to enjoy this event. Rayland Baxter and his band were what was recommened by a friend and we really enjoyed him and his band. When we told the friend that Grace Potter and her band were playing he was astounded. Great nite.

I've seen a lot of different live acts, but this performance by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals has to have been one of my favorites. They played with such energy and precision that left everyone wanting more! It was simply fantastic!

The bottom line is that Grace can play guitar with the likes of Angus Young, Clapton, and the late SRV. Her voice and energy was awesome from the first song to the last!

Amazing music and brilliant performance. Huge artistic talent, ideas carefully executed, blasting energy, and a great connection to the audience. Loved it when Grace pulled out her cell phone and started photographing the audience!! Great show!

First time for me at the Norva plus first tie seeing them live.......I am totally in love with no. Loved, loved, loved the band... Grace Potter is not only sexy and beautiful but she can rock it like a true star... that she and the band really are.... ROCKSTARS!! Can say enough about how great the musicians were and how much I enjoyed the show.
What a fabulous venue the Norva is..... Classic old school style without a lot of bells and whistles, nice bartenders, fabulous lighting and sound system. The quality of the music was just stellar!
Also check out their opening act Rayland Baxter.. Tall drink of water and great music abilities... He was quite the surprise on the night!
Overall best day ever!!
