She Wants Revenge (SWR) with Kill Hannah live at the Vic Theater in Chicago, Il. October 1st, 2009! SWR's two front men Justin, and Adam could be seen mingling in the crowd as always; common anti-rockstar/anti-industry stand taken by players in the punk genre, but very uncommon for a non-punk band such as SWR who have found success on the radio, internet, and even on MTV.

SWR has ventured away from record labels and have adopted the do-it-yourself approach, thus reeling in a fan base that will follow them right into the Rock'N'Roll hall of fame! Their newest Ep release "Up & Down" shows that SWR is allowing room for musical exploration, and as always, each album is better then the one before. So if you loved early SWR, you're going to become addicted to their latest!

Least I forget to Mention that Kill Hannah was at the top of their game and they threw a CD release after party at Peter Wentz and Ashley Simpsons bar "Angels and Kings" on North Clark Street in Chicago with guest DJ Adam 12 of She Wants Revenge.

Yes the main band was She Wants Revenge, but I went to see Kill Hannah. I am part of the KHK so I was able to meet the band with a few others. The guys were incredibly nice. They played an amazing show. Our group even got a shoutout from the band. I was on the front row, and got a ton of awesome pictures. Overall this show made my year

She Wants Revenge is a fairly new band, and they do not fail to impress me. All of the music they have released has blown me away and they really are great at sounding like they do on their albums when they play live. They also have a way of bringing the audience in. Their openers are also very well chosen, especially Kill Hannah. I will be attending as many shows that I can in which they are involved and hopefully they will be back soon!

I had an extremely frustrating nite before the show with the rain, the parking situation and traffic, but the show was way awesome! I love these guys! Live show way more than I was expecting.

I enjoyed the show for the most parts, but I felt that the synth parts were nonexistent, or too quiet. More emphasis was on the dancing aspect. They were a lot of fun to dance to, don't get me wrong. But those of you who are purists, a lot of the songs were missing some of the "synthy sound" from the albums.

I was also hoping the set would have a few more tracks, like "Pretend the World Has Ended"

This is my fifth time seeing She Wants Revenge live and they never disappoint. They hone their craft and get better with every performance. There's a great energy to the show, and I love the fact that Adam and Justin are so down to Earth, mingle with the crowd, and always communicate with the fans. I danced non-stop and was very sad when the show was over. My only complaint was that they only played for an hour and a half, but I believe there are city restrictions on when concerts must end. For anyone who doesn't have their albums or has never seen them live, I highly recommend it.

I had liked SWR since hearing some of their songs on a local alt rock radio station. i bought their first album this summer, found it at Jack's in Red Bank, NJ in July in a used CD bin, and it was only $6.99. I listened to it non stop and decided if they ever came around I would definately go to one of their shows. They did not disappoint and I actually like them more (if that is possible). The Trocadero is a great venue- easy to get to, lots of parking around and cheap drinks. It wasn't too crowded and security was good. It was easy to get up close to see the band or hang back. The band was animated and obviously loved performing. They were a lot more animated then I was expecting and they were just fun- the way they interacted with the crowd and smiled. It was cool to hear some of their soon to be released songs. Also, they did a very classy tribute to DJ AM. There was nothing to not like about this show, save for the fact it was only an hour and there was no encore. If SWR comes 'round this way again, I am in for sure.

I felt that She Wants Revenge is on the verge of becoming a more talked about band and am looking forward to there next full-lenght and thought the new songs they played where a interesting direction for them with a more Prince influence then Joy Division.

I drove 4 hours to see this show and it was soo worth it! I cam just in time for the last of the 5 billion openers, Kill Hannah from Chicago and I am definitely a fan of them now. But She Wants Revenge took the golden award and had a great stage presence. The singer sure can move his hips! Real great venue, small and intimate and large area for the audience to stand. I love small, hidden in the middle of no where places like this. Am definitely going back to Northern Lights to see All Time Low.

What can I say about this show except that it was amazing. All three sets that played that night were phenomenal ( Paper Route, Kill Hannah, and of course She Wants Revenge). The venue was very intimate. Everything was very easy to find. The crowd was lively and the acoustics were excellent! I would gladly drive 300 miles out to DC again to the Black Cat just to see another excellent group perform there. I am definitely a big fan of smaller more intimate venues. For me it makes the whole experience seem more exciting. I was directly in front of the stage the whole time, and at certain points in the set , the artist was even able to interact with me and audience members around me! very memorable. 5 stars, most definitely.

As always she wants revenge provided their crowd with an outstanding show. They always manage to give us a sweet taste of their new songs, which makes want to rush home and hear the rest of their new cd. This was my third show in philly and really wish they would come around more often. love Love when they close their shows with "out of control" and "tear you apart" it never fails to make everyone dance. Highly recommend to check out their show if you get a chance!!
