We visited from out of town, so the Go Train dropping us at the door was perfect - ideal location for the Fair. Bought tickets online, so entry was fast. Everyone we met or asked for directions, etc. were cheerful and helpful. Lots to choose from in the eateries. Only downside was that the map on the back of the programme was too small - very hard, almost impossible, for these "senior" eyes to read.

Good event once it started. Kevin was a BLAST, leading us to four different drinking venues at the Royal. Greater selection of beverages at each venue would have made it better. I am not a cocktail drinker.
Confusion existed as to where participants in the pub crawl were to meet at the Royal Winter Fair. The location was not printed on the ticket. Neither the ticket booth nor the information booth staff knew of the starting location of this event.

Love the Royal Winter Fair. Highlight of the year for us horse people. Wish there had been more tack shop vendors - seems less and less horse shopping available each year. Didn't find as many bargains as usual either with the vendors that were there. Still love going and would love to be able to go more than one day. There is always so much to see and do and the variety of great food available is another reason to attend. Long live The Royal.
