I was truly amazed. We say their Friday night show and they did an outstanding job. Because they don't always perform the same selections at every performance, each time you go to a show, its like being at a performance for the first time! It was well worth the money!!!

Moving! Breathtaking! Amazing dancers!
Fun! Uplifting! It left me wanting more!!
I can not say enough wonderful things about this
Performance. This was my first time and I can't wait
To see them again and take my daughters.
They told stories and put you in a different world
With their dance. They made you feel every movement
With them. Excellent example of passion for dance.

This performance was a wonderful combination of contemporary and classical modern dance. The audience participation section was a refreshing surprise. As always, "Revelations" brought everyone to their feet. I'm glad that the company continues to perform this iconic piece. If the United States ever opted to designate a national dance. "Revelations" would be among the top contenders.

The dancing was incredible. Beautiful choreography to great music! I originally wanted to see a "classical" ballet, but I'd go back! Wonderful!

I have watched Alvin Ailey for years and they have never disappointed. The new choreography is fresh and powerful. The "old" stuff (Revelations) is still a joy to watch.
Take entire family and encourage all your friends to attend and support.

Seeing Alvin Ailey is a tradition for me; I treat myself every year for the past seven or eight years as a birthday gift to myself. This years performance was amazing!!!! I saw two performances that i had never seen before (Annoited and The Hunt) on top of two that were favorites of mine (vespers shown on PBS and of course Revelations). I was also surprised by a friend and went again on Sunday afternoon and was blown back by the short film and 50th year celebration of Revelation. I loved it, the performance and that tall dark young man dancing was so beautiful. I will see them again next year. What a wonderful experience!!! If you never experience Alvin Ailey before you are missing out on what it is to be human...
