Platanos and Collard Greens was a wonderful play, based on real life!!!

Favorite moment: My favorite moment was when the mother and Anjilita went to the therapist for help. The mother was great and played the part very well. @

I have been trying to see this play for months now. I decided to get tickets when my good friend said she was visiting me. This was one of the first things I planned to do for her while she was here in the NYC. She loved the show and was greateful that I choose this as an outting for her. She said she will definetly remember this experience. I myself am dating a Puerto Rican man and I can relate a little. He has told me some stories himself and this show helped to explain better the reasons behind the different attitudes when the two cultures are in a relationship.

I enjoyed the play. I think all high school & college students should see this play as well as adults. Its a good eye opener. It shows you that we are all the same no matter what culture you are from. We are people having a human experience.
