I have been to a sing-a-long at the Fox Theater in St.Louis and this didn't even compare! The worst $23 I have ever spent! And I bought 4 tickets. The person running the show talked TOO long! And for the $$, what we received for customer interaction was ridiculous! We left VERY early

It was a great evening. It was very creative. Costume parade was nice, but it turned out to be too long. My daughter and I both enjoyed it. My daughter sings so she really had the pleasure of singing out loud.. Wished it had been earlier. It is a classic.

We had a wonderful time at the Sound of Music Sing Along. The Hollywood Bowl is awesome. We could see the lyrics on the screen even though we were very far away. The costume parade was cute but WAY too long (about 2 hours!) but I love that you can bring your own food and drinks and picnic before the show. There's nothing like singing at the top of your lunch to one of your favorite movies along with 18,000 fellow fans!

My 15 year old daughter and I absolutely loved our unforgettable night enjoying Sound of Music with all of our fellow SOM fans---it is possible it is the most fun night we have shared and one we will treasure in memory forever!! We can't wait to see other Sing a longs and plan to make SOM a yearly tradition!

IT'S SIMPLY SENSATIONAL!!:
STARTING WITH THE HOST- SHE WAS AWESOMELY FUNNY AND ENTERTAINING!!
-THE COSTUME PARADE WAS GREAT ..AND MY ULTIMATE FAVORITE WAS THIS WHOLE FAMILY INSIDE A GIANT VONS BROWN BAG AND THEY WERE - THE FAMILY "VONS TRAPPED"... HAHAHA! (SO CREATIVE!!)
THIS MOVIE IS VERY SPECIAL TO ME BECAUSE I WATCHED IT ENDLESS TIMES WITH MY MOTHER.. AND WE SANG.. AND WE TALKED THROUGHOUT THE MOVIE AND ALWAYS HAD SO MUCH FUN WITH IT... WELL.. SHE PASSED AWAY 7 YEARS AGO.. AND GOING TO THE SOUND OF MUSIC SING-ALONGS IS ONE OF THE THINGS THAT MAKES ME FEEL CLOSER TO HER... <3<3

The bowl was filled with fans of the amazing film that taught most of us mere mortals how to sing. Though pre entertainment was cute, it probably dragged on for an hour longer than it should have. Loved the "little shop of horrors" cues, but the flashlight people were a bit much. All in all a great night with Christoper, Julie and all the kids. Definitely could do that again!

House was packed, excellent times as always. Some patrons had cellphone flashlights that were blindingly bright when they were waving it in the air for certain songs.

This is my favorite event at the Hollywood Bowl - singing along with Sound of Music with a sold out crowd! Super fun :) Started a little late this year because the costume parade went long, but not a huge deal.

***** for the movie. The movie was wonderful-great resolution, color & sound! There were quite a few comical surprises provided by the audience at appropriate times during the movie, i.e., cow bells, flashlights, poppers. I also enjoyed the fact that many of the audience wore costumes representing characters or some aspect of the movie. The MC encouraged the audience to jeer and hiss at the bad guys and cheer for the good guys. In addition, the sushi from the on-site vendor was awesome!!!

"0" for many of the people in the audience around my group. My friend cut her hand on a glass bottle which had rolled down from a level above us and shattered under our seats. Also, quite a few inconsiderate people decided to be obnoxious and shined their flashlights and laser pointers at the screen during inappropriate times during the movie. Finally, the pre-show could have been at least a half hour shorter. Did we really need to see everyone wearing a costume? At first it was fun. Towards the end of the pre-show, it became tiresome.

What a wonderful night! I took some friends who were fans of the Sound of Music but had never experienced the "sing along". Well they all loved it and we are going to grow our group next year! Melissa Peterman was a scream! Classy, Sassy and hilarious!
