My wife and I admittedly were not familiar with Celtic Woman prior to this concert. We enjoyed Celtic music though, so I went ahead and purchased tickets to this event. I grew up in a musical family, so it takes a great performance to impress me. WOW, were we impressed! The uplifting nature of the entire concert was my over-all favorable impression. There are too many things in this world to drag us down, but this concert raised us high! The clarity of the womens' voices, and the musicianship of the instrumentalists, the back-up singers, and the percussion section contributed to making this concert a fantastic experience. My wife and I have since rented 2 DVDs of other Celtic Woman performances.

As always, the Celtic Woman's performance was professional and polished, yet delightful and entertaining. While enjoying their new arrangements it is the traditional numbers they are most known for that continue to provide the most listening pleasure. One exception is the new song, O' America, which salutes their adopted country in a beautiful and patriotic manner. The lighting, sound, and backdrops were adequate but not overwhelming like you see in many shows today. The new girls fit right into the group both in appearance and in vocals. It is an event one leaves feeling satisfied yet wishing there was more.

I took the family to see Celtic Woman and we were all very impressed with the quality of the music and the overall staging. It was a family friendly event and I highly recommended it to everyone. The music was superb and the ladies look great in their evening gowns.

I have been watching Celtic Women on PBS for several years now, and I have a CD or two, but they don't compare with being there. Wonderful show. I would go again to see the same show over again' if I ever have the chance, and I go to see very few shows. They have to be special to get me to go see them.

The five women who are Celtic Woman each brought heavenly light and music to a totally captivated audience, who I am sure all feel in love with them as I did. You will see and be disolved into no greater stage show and event than the sights and sounds of this talented group and their band. Don't miss it.

Performance was acceptable but not worth the price of the ticket. Four of the troop were there to perform while the remainder of the troop were there because it was their job. Three of the four were excellent!! One of the four outstanding. I've see better stage and props at high school performances.

I was hooked from the first song of the concert I attended last night. Colorful lighting, graphics, and beautiful blending of harmonies was proof of much diligent effort from composition to rehearsal to execution. The highlighting of each voice's talent and range was an added plus. The professionalism didn't end with the vocalists either. There were spellbinding moments with the guiatarist, pianist, the flautist, and even the dynamic duo of percussion. That dynamic duo kept things alive and in some cases, quite animated as well. The magic fiddler was entertaining to the ear and was a bit of elfin magic to behold with her energetic choreographies.
The willingness to share a bit of the spotlight with so many talented folks was as gracious a gesture to behold as any I've seen. I felt honored and my ears were laved with luxurious tempos, textures, and themes. There were moments during their performance where my eyes watered and my lips trembled. It's a rare and delicious treat for a fan to experience such an emotional range. If that's the price I pay to visit with performers of such a widely talented range, I say play on!

Class events such as this should be sold-out! Sorry to see empty seats. I hope this doesn't discourage future artists from coming to Bakersfield. We could use more high class groups to entertain here. Sporting events are okay, but we should be exposed to more cultural venues such as this one. The songs told stories of how people left their homes and loved ones to seek a better life in a new, unkown land and in doing so, they brought with them their music and dance which still has a strong influence today.

THE CONCERT WAS AMAZING BUT BEWARE IF YOU DO NOT SIT IN THE MIDDLE OR CLOSE TO YOU WILL MISS A LOT. THE STAGE WAS SET UP AS A TUNNEL I GUESS YOU COULD SAY AND THE WOMEN WOULD SOMETIMES BE INSIDE THE TUNNEL. MY HUSBAND AND I SAT VERY CLOSE BUT TO THE SIDE AND MISSED SOME OF WHAT WAS GOING ON. TRY TO SIT IN THE MIDDLE EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO BE FURTHER BACK. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER.

I would recommend every American to listen to these women... amazing!!! The songs O' America and Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears.. two thumbs up and a big thank you to the ladies. I can't wait to see them again.. next time will get the meet the Celtic Woman back stage... they are just breathtaking. This was the most amazing night. The singing, dancing, staging and presentations was phenominal. I could have sat there for another 3 hours or longer. Wonderful show for all ages. These women are Beautiful and are a pure example of beauty that all women should embrace.

Again regardless of the show. Every year these 5 talented women ,fantastic choir and band, Continue to amaze. Wonderful time, Something for all ages. Venue was very nice.

This was one of the best concerts I have been to in a long time. These remarkable women love what they do, and it is evident. They harmonize beautifully. The show was professional and flowed very well. Well worth the price.

My only "complaint" (if you will) is that they didn't sing more songs accapalla.
