Mary Poppins was very pretty to look at: gorgeous set, good lighting, excellent sound, but the show was somewhat slow and boring. There was nothing new in terms of staging or choreography. The actress playing Mary Poppins was excellent: effortless acting and beautiful voice. She makes it look so easy. The actor playing Bert was engaging, likable, and energetic. However, the supporting cast all seemed to be working very hard and taking their time about it. This made the show seem to drag. Pick up your cues, for goodness sake, and stop playing for laughs.
This would be a good show to take a child to for their first experience in the theater. But, for kids who have seen the Lion King or Beauty and the Beast, this will not impress them.

Fabulous! All the wonder of the movie along with the unexpected twists that only a live Broadway show can bring to the material. For anyone that believes in magic, this is a must see!

Didn't know what to expect from this childhood classic. There were smiles on our faces the whole night. What a wonderfully fun and positive experience. Music, dancing, laughs and lessons. This is one we will remember always as one of our favorite nights! Go see it!

I had not been to the theater for many years...and then my girlfriend wanted to see Mary Poppins for her 50th...I just remember seeing the movie with my 5th grade parochial school class 44 years earlier...I do not remember having as much fun from that earlier production...the costuming,set design, acting, the magic...a truly remarkable production that I would recommend to anyone,any age, any time!!! Thank you New Amsterdam for a wonderful time and a most beautiful venue...and thank you to all the actors, directors, costumers, carpenters, orchestra, and anyone else who had a hand in bringing this to life.

I have been to many plays from London to Broadway, and this may have been this best play I have ever seen. I loved the "special effects" the music, dancing and the great scenery changes. A good play for the whole family!!!

My girlfriend and I were visiting NYC on a budget and I really wanted to take her to a Broadway show. At the recommendation of a friend I bought tickets to see Marry Poppins. They were much more affordable than most of the other shows, and the clips on their youtube channel looked great.
The show was great! Very fun, lively, and unexpectedly touching...at a great price! What more could you ask for? Go see it, you won't be disappointed!

We were four adults and four children ages 5-16. Everyone enjoyed the show, it held everyones interest the entire time. The cast was great, singing and acting all good. Loved the set!

We took our daughter to see this show for her 11th birthday..this was her first broadway show and what an amazing experience it was for her. Im so glad we chose Mary Poppins, we loved every single character and the actors all put amazing performances..Mary was lovely and Neleus so funny! I hope to see this show again

Mary Poppins and the complete cast were fabulous! I'm still singing all the songs and dancing to the music of this supercalifragilisticexpialidocious play. I would see the play over and over again. Amazing talented actresses and actors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw this show with my 13-year-old daughter and we both LOVED it! We already listen to the music and have seen the movie, so it was familiar to us. Everyone around us seemed to love it, too! The scenery, acting, singing, dancing - everything was amazing. HIGHLY recommended!!
