Favorite moment: When Regina wouldn't come out for the encore till Security carried away a drunk woman in the front row. @

Setlist: All the hits off Far, Ode to Divorce, Samson, On the Radio, Hotel Song, Fidelity, Apres Moi, Poor Little Rich Boy, Us, Some of her funny songs that you don't hear on the cd's. As I said a bigger variety than I was expecting from the other reviews on here. @

Regina was a pleasure to watch! She is so humble and incredibly talented. I felt like the show was pretty short though since she was only out there for a little over an hour. However, while she was out there she was great! Her voice sounds the same live as it does in the studio, and she can fricken JAM on that piano! She definitely played more of a variety than I thought she would which was awesome and made my night oh so much better! She even threw in a country song at the end which I found charming and appropriate for Nashville. Overall, it was a funny and heart warming experience, I only wish I had gotten to drink a cup of coffee with her while we talked about life, but there is always the future :-) Go see her you will not regret it!

Regina Spektor is an amazingly talented young woman. Her performance was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely humble, and she connected with the audience well. The show was full of her best music.

What an amazing artist. Live, her songs contain more emotion and uniqueness than do the recorded versions. This show was beautiful and amazing and I cannot wait for her next. The only problem I had was with the venue. Poor security and out-of-hand fans. Very embarrassing moment for Asheville, in my opinion. I can only hope Regina did not notice!

Regina Spektor is a must see.
Wasn't too fond of opening act, but they didn't sound bad. Just not fond of style. The sound guy that night was great. I could clearly hear all the instruments.

The only thing I didn't like was the WAY TOO BRIGHT GREEN LIGHTS.

My only wish is she would've played more songs, but that's just because I lover her playing and voice so much. I really hope she comes back next year or even sooner than that; NEXT TIME ME AND MY FRIENDS ARE GETTING FRONT ROW.

Lots of sexy girls were at the concert too.

Our event was held in relatively small auditorium, and it was hardly sold out which was the beginning to a series of many suprises! Jupiter One was an okay opening act, I expected better. When Regina came on stage everyone went crazy and without a word she sat at the piano and began her set. After her first, "The Calculation", she moved right on to the next, with only a "Thank you very much, thank you very much" afterwards. This was a repeated pattern, moving on to her next songs without any other comments.
Her voice was so pure, that it sounded like a recording-- So pure and fantastic!! Other than sparse audience reaction, the concert was great. My expectations were higher but she had a very impressive preformance, which only highlighted even more her exponential talent.
The ending was abrupt and many of us were left with puzzled looks and kept clapping, hoping she would give us an encore, which she did.
The whole concert seemed so short, probably because she played straight through her set. We were the second to last stop on her tour in America, in a few days she's set to start touring in Europe, so fatigue could be another reason. Overall, I would go see her again only if it was more audience based, I felt like I was just listening to a live album.

Regina exceeded my expectations. She sang beautifully, all my favorite songs and very humble, sweet and personable on stage.

Coming into this concert I had very high expectations. I was blown away!!!! She is one of the few performers where the quality of her live performance was so outstanding that listening to recordings is disappointing.

Not only was Regina's sound perfect, but she was a lot funnier than I expected. I would highly suggest seeing her, however know going into it that you will not be rocking out..... instead you will be basking in the glory that is Regina.

Regina was incredible, almost flawless in her vocals, funny, and entertaining.
I would recommend this show to anyone 17 and older.
Regina music style speaks for itself on a whole different level.

Regina Spektor was an amazing performance. Her voice was beautiful, and sounded GREAT live. Jupiter One was the opening performance and they were really good as well, and I'm definitely intrigued about their music and plan on buying their CD. The only thing I would say is that with the position of Regina and the piano, if you were sitting on the right side of the "stage" it was difficult if not impossible to see her.

This was an amazing concert, but with regina spektor, how can you go wrong? She has such a different sounding voice, it's mesmerizing. Good songs, great time! We also loved the opening band. They were realy fun to listen to and got us moving with the beats! It's so much fun watching the different band members and see all the talent these musicians have.

If you think her voice is amazing recorded, then you will only be more amazed to see her live. She is a phenomenally talented artist who not only has the skill to make incredible music, but also enjoys her music. You can tell by the way she plays with her voice, the chords, and her body as she performs. Not only did she treat us to a number of songs from her new album, she included several of her older songs as well. When she left the stage to a standing ovation, she returned to play a 5 song encore! Her opening band, Jupiter One is a great new band out of New York as well. Overall, it was a fantastic show!

I have been waiting to see her since I had to give up my ticket two years ago for a twice re-scheduled Atlanta show, and missed her again when I was in DC for this Octobers shows. However, I am thrilled that my first show was in one of my favorite towns, Asheville. All the wait and anticipation and Regina did not disappoint! Lucky me, 5th row, I had a great view, but even if I had been in the back, her play list was excellent. It was 85% of the new album, Far, but the BEST of Far. Accompanied by a violin player, a cello player, and a drummer, songs like Folding Chair and Calculation sound exactly like the cd recording. To please us rabid fans, Regina played a great selection of some older material, including Hotel Song, US, On the Radio, and a fan favorite, Bobbing for Apples. Audience was friendly, but there was no respect with the incredible amount of people taking pictures with flashes and the constant distracting glare of view screens. Way too much singing going on in the 'choir.' All the drawn out 'S's' made it sound like a steam pipe was leaking. Also, a decent selection of shirt designs and a great selection of Regina cd's, but NO programs, or necklaces, which was the only disappointment. I wish like anything I was going to another show tonight! THANK YOU, REGINA!

She was the sweetest little thing. She is a great performer and sang wonderfully. I would go back a thousand times just to see her again!
Her encore was wonderful, she played the songs we had been requesting the whole evening.
The opening act, Jupiter One, was awesome. Great, sweet, performers.

The Regina Spektor concert was incredible! She was PERFECT!

I hope she comes back.

I just wish the seats were more comfortable and angled better. I was in the 2nd row and still couldn't see.

regina played an excellent show as i knew she would. however, i was extremely disappointed about not being allowed to stand during the show. part of enjoying music is having the ability to move, dance and sway to it, even if it is music that can be soft and beautiful, as regina spektor's often is. i ended up moving to the back row of the orchestra left seats in order to stand, but i feel like regina as a musician was cheated out of positive crowd energy and enthusiasm that could have come from fans being allowed to stand for her.

This show was amazing. Regina played several songs from her CD "Far" and peppered in many other songs from her other CDs. It is not very often that someone can say that the artist is better in person than on the CD, but in this case, it is very true. Regina's voice was spot-on all night. She had fun interactions with the audience and let her quirky, lovable self come through.

Regina Spektor was incredible! She sounded better live then she does on her albums, which isn't always the case for some artists. I highly recommend seeing her perform if you ever get the chance.
