The National happens to be my favorite band of all time, and let me tell you, I was kind of nervous that they would fail to meet my ridiculously high expectations... I'm so glad I went to this show because it was honestly the best show I've ever been to. Their sound was more than incredible and Matt's stage banter was nice and quaint. I couldn't have asked for a better show, nor a better encore! Also, My Brightest Diamond was absolutely phenomenal!

This band is one of my favorite, and sound amazing on CD & whatnot. But if you have a change ever to see them live do not miss it. They just know how to get feeling out of each song and everyone at the show.

Amazing, as usual- put on a great show, even though its the end of a very long tour. Their hearts were in it and they previewed some new songs. I love these guys.

Always liked The National's musicbut this is the first time I saw them live. The show was over the top. 100 TIMES BETTER LIVE!!! The band was so tight and the banter on stage was fun to hear. you can tell they were having just as much fun as the crowd. As always I believe the Beacon Theatre is one of the best venues for sound and theres not a bad seat in the house.

This was one of the most beautiful shows I've ever attended. The band was phenomenal, and the venue was lovely and had some of the best acoustics I've ever heard. Trey Anastasio jumped in for a few songs as well, which was great. Overall, I would highly recommend a National show to anyone. It was truly like I'd never heard them before.

I love this band, their sound, their roots, i am afraid they will get huge in the coming future and play big venues , and the rest is history , that is why i went to see them five times already about this particular show i loved what they did with the moving images in the back ground with the cameras angles and lighting , still feels intimate . i predict they will reach the heavens ;-0

I don't usually like reserved seating, but if you can get front row in the upper balcony, it's a decent trade-off for cramming yourself against the stage the second the doors open. Seeing The National in this gorgeous, graceful space was one of the great gigs of my life. Magical in every way.
