Heard this guy a few years ago in Salt Lake City for the first time. Since then, I've followed his career/ministry and am really impressed with his desire to communicate the gospel message in a compelling way to those who are hurting or in need (and who among us hasn't been?). We all have a story, and Matthew is a gifted songwriter and storyteller. And he can sing too!

I was most impressed with his desire to really connect with the audience....in a transparent and very real way. His closing invitation to anyone who is searching, to come and find the Answer, was a great way to conclude an awesome evening of story sharing and worship.

The opening acts were awesome, and Matthew West was soo good. He interacted with the audience, and gave us all a show that we will never forget. He is very talented, along with the rest of his band. His music is inspirational.

Opening act(s): The opening acts were GREAT!! The EverFresh guys did an incredibly energetic and musically tight set...very good stage presence...my teenage girls now have a new favorite "guy band"!! Of course they are all terrible cute too!! @

My family has hosted at least 20 Christian concerts in the last 5 years and we have been to many other concerts and this was at or near the top of any Christian concerts we have experienced!

It was high energy, amazing sound quality and of course meaningful lyrics in all the songs.
I was especially impressed with the way the team put together the whole event in a way that really made an environment for the Holy Spirit to impact hearts. Whoever did the powerpoint displays did an incredible job of coordinating the lights and the visuals on the screen along with the lyrics and feel of the songs. The lyrics were presented line by line but in truly unique and very professional ways that made the whole evening like a 3-D reality effect. Like more than the parts...the whole was truly impacting. Souls were saved, lives changed. There was even an altar call at the end and Matthew brought in people who were the impetus(inspiration) for the songs on his new album and had them testify of how the Lord has worked in their lives. That was powerful and again made it all more than a musical worship experience...lots of dynamic things going on. A three and a half hour evening very well spent! I would say that I left feeling very proud of the team including the Anthem staff who sponsored the event. Well done!!!

This is unlike any concert I have ever been to. Matthew West asked people to send them their stories and send them they did. He chose a handful of stories and wrote songs for each one. The lyrics are thoughtful and powerful, the melodies are beautiful and memorable. I was still humming them the next day!
The presentation was unique,; a videographer captured several stories told by the people who lived them. The videos played and then Matthew and his band performed the song he wrote for them. It was quite moving.
I would definately recommend this concert. Anybody who loves singer songwriters will especially appreciate this concert

Matthew West is one of the best singers I've ever heard. His stories and songs are inspiring and glorify God. He introduced his family to the crowd which was very cool. He also had several of the people that were the inspirations for his stories and songs on stage with him. Very moving!

This was more than another great concert. It was a great night of inner healing for many people including myself.. The music was awesome and I would highly reccomend seeing him in concert and picking up the cd INTO THE LIGHT. I can listen to it over and over again and never get sick of it.
