My family and I were pleasantly surprised, if not shocked, by how impressive the event is. This is a holiday must for any family. I'm originally from the NorthEast and we have a lot of similar rinks, this one is on par with any of them!

Great fun for my granddaughter. The music, the lights, the artificial snow set the mood for Christmas. Hot chocolate and food stand an added bonus. Please bring back next year. Wonderful fun for anyone.

I really enjoyed my experience skating at the Transportation Museum. I found the whole process very easy from getting my ticket scanned at the gate to picking up my skates. Skating outdoors was a new experience as that we are in the South, and it is rarely cold enough for natural ice to form. Refreshments were offered at very reasonable prices including smores kits that could be used which could add to you fun. If you don't want to skate there are bleachers where you can watch, also a local photo company was there taking pictures and offered them on their website for a small fee. I would highly recommend this family friendly event.
In addition to skating the venue is offering a variety of events throughout the month of December that are worth checking out. If you come on the right night you can skate then go for a carriage or pony ride.
