Though I like The Futureheads, I actually went to this show to see The Static Jacks, the opening act. I've seen them before & I have all their material ... they are fantastic.
Though they only played a very short set, I still enjoyed it.

Great show and unfortunate low attendance, the rap concert next door sold out though.. lol... Unfortunately Detroit is the land of Rap and HipHop, not the land of excellent music.. the true fans were in attendance and the futureheads certainly did not disappoint.. Love seeing a show upstairs at the stick, this was my first Futureheads show but i've been a fan for 8+ years... Well worth the wait! Great opening band from Jersey.. Static Jacks, sounded good and hopefully they get signed soon.. The Like was the other opener, group of smoking hot eurochicks.. reminded me of a Tegan and Sarah but with more energy and a smoking hot lead!

not too many people in attendance, but it didn't matter to the Futureheads! They rocked it out and were upbeat, funny and sounded great. I would LOVE to see them again in Detroit. Great gig.

These guys gave a great show....very high energy...interaction with the audience was gracious and entertaining....I had only seen them on TRL so I wanted to check them out and I wasn't disappointed!

Utterly amazing, non-stop pulsating energy , the best gig I have seen for a long time .These 4 guys know just what it takes to get a venue bouncing, from the minute they walked onto the stage till their final encore - of which there were 4 great songs - the raw blistering pounding post punk sensibilities never stopped, just superb.

The Futureheads, made up of four brilliant UK studs, rocked the Paradise last night with an energetic and captivating performance. Playing songs from all of their albums, including the recent "Chaos", The Futureheads proved to be just as amazing as the last time they came to Boston, which was four years ago. I wish they came around more often!
