A wonderful performance of a unique and exciting style of dance. The Musicians were a delight. The hour long performance was described by the program as a depiction of the flow of a life, and the beautiful (and ambiguous) movements and gestures could easily have been describing that. The solo and ensemble components to the performance were all executed with an enjoyable and masterful energy.

Utterly fantastic show . . . only complaint is that it was way TOO SHORT!!! Would have been interesting to the the drummers compose a piece for the Ragamala dancers to dance to . . .

This was the best performance I've seen in a long time. Among many other great musical and theatrical performances, this was inspiring, graceful, beautiful, multidimensional; it made me excited to be human. Never miss a chance to see either of these groups again as long as you live. AND at 9 bucks a ticket (plus annoying charges) it was a steal. Mu Daiko continues to amaze me- I've attended their concerts for about 5 years. Energy, love of life, love of the intrinsic beat- see them loving what they do and they are ON! Ragamala is sooooo beautiful- poetry and mystery, precise and fluid, non stop athletic, floating, unique - a gift to dance. Don't hesitate- go again if you can.

Both of these groups are great! Their levels of skill and presence are awesome. They deserve bigger venues! I will certainly attend more of their performances in the future.
