One of the best concerts I've been to in a long time. Possibly ever. Sufjan is all about extravangance and perfection and gave each person so, so much more than their money's worth. Although the set list was composed almost entirely from his new album "Age of Adz" and his "All Delighted People"EP if you're a true fan you did your homework and listened to these before the show! I thought the sound was better than the recorded version and he is just so darn cute! He and his band were having a fabulous time and the visuals were incredible! I was dancing in my seat most of the concert and when I wasn't it was because he was melting my heart with a slower song. I've been waiting to see Sufjan for years and he absolutely exceeded my expectations in every regard. I'm going to make it a point to try my hardest to see him perform again. Beautiful. Incredible. "Words are futile devices" in explaining how amazing this concert was.

This was the second time in two years of seen Sufjan in Boston. He puts on an incredible show with superb musical performances and GREAT stage entertainment. With bubbles balloons and confetti falling from the ceiling at the grand fanali(spell check), this guy pulls out all the stops to give you an experience to remember. Lots of singing, dancing, and happiness. Oh yea and his x-mess unicorn outfit was ridiculously fun and just so ridiculously christmas bull crap i suppose. Perfect show! You have to see him live. I wont ever miss a show of his.

Third time seeing Sufjan. Great concert with lots of crowd sing-a-longs of Christmas songs. Seemed very at-ease and natural. Also incorporated some great older songs, especially during the encore, from Illinois and Michigan. The opener was a bit strange, but I guess we should come to expect some absurdity from Sufjan these days. All in all, a great show, a lot of fun, and probably the best I've seen him since 2006.

Sufjan aptly referred to it as a "bipolar Christmas party." Everything from Sufjan-style arrangements of Christmas hymns, whole-audience caroling, and the occasional intimate, acoustic non-Christmas Sufjan hit.

This is the second Sufjan Stevens concert I have attended, and I can't wait until the next show!! I am a HUGE Sufjan fan and nothing about this performance was disappointing. The venue was beautiful; like a small ballroom, beautifully decorated for the holidays, complete with a rustic smell. "Sheila Saputo," the opening act, was hilarious and brought the type of bizarre humor to the show that felt very appropriate for a Sufjan concert. His anecdotes and audience rapport were superb, delivering the kind of info and relationship that a fan hopes for but doesn't necessarily get from a studio recording. He transitioned beautifully, as he said, between the sacred and the profane, as well as from upbeat poppy songs to slow, traditional hymns. The variety was gorgeous and entirely appropriate for the concert.

As a long time fan of Sufjan Stevens, I went to this show with the highest of expectations. I was completely blown away by his artfulness, his musicality, his showmanship. No show will ever live up to the bar set by Sufjan. If you ever get the chance to see him, SEIZE IT. He is truly a musician among musicians, an artist among artists.

Suf killed it. He was thoroughly involved throughout the performance, whether he was playing the guitar, piano, weird box thing or just running his hand through the chimes. His voice is just as good, if not better, as on the CD and his backing band didn't an excellent job supporting him (although Rosie Thomas seemed a little drunk).

Sufjan Stevens is an incredible live performer. His Christmas tour has proven to be incredibly captivating, from the band wearing costumes to the huge "wheel of Christmas" in the background that is spun to choose the next sing-a-long song. It was great of Stevens to include a few non-Christmas songs in his encore, moving songs that ended the show in a powerful way.

Sufjan was unbelievably great. The set list was perfect for a Christmas sing-a -long. Giving us the lyrics so we could join him in singing Christmas classics was so much fun. Overall, if you get a chance to go to ANY Sufjan concert (Christmas or not) you should do it!

Wonderful show. Sufjan covered his Christmas Hits, sung with us on traditional songs, and laced the show with his own songs we all know and love. The atmosphere, the ideas, the insanity goes beyond just a solid performance with solid musicians. It is performance art at its best and least pretentious. I don't want to go into too may details because everything was a pleasant surprise to me but leaving the show, you will know the meaning of "Wheel of Christmas" and "Christmas Unicorn" probably beyond what you ever cared to understand.

I'm sure Sufjan was amazing, but we couldn't see him at all. We were up in the balcony, all the seats were taken and we were standing behind a bunch of standing people, not able to see the stage at all. We ended up just sitting on the floor and listening. There were prob 20 people who couldn't see at all. Get to this venue early if its GA!
