Beautiful evening at Red Rocks, almost enough of a reason to see anyone there. John Adams nailed John Denver the majority of the time. There were hints of his Dutch (?) accent at times. We were a little surprised that he took a 15-20 minute break after singing only about 5 songs. The second set was pretty average in length. He did mostly the favorites, which is what a tribute artist should do since there is nothing new to add to the repertoire, but he did chose a couple of obscure songs. Also, did we really need home grown tomatoes with the plethora of other great ones Denver did.?
In the end, it was an entertaining evening and John Adams does a pretty nice job with all of John Denver's songs.
