Except for the overcast and cool weather had a blast at the event. This is the second year in a row have attended this event with my daughter. We will be back next year!!!!

The traffic control getting to the event was awful with almost no useful signage along the route. The directions to the main gate were just as bad. However, the worst offense was the layout of the track and seating. At other locations the race is actually visible, but at this event the vehicles could only be seen for a very short portion of the race and the track layout was such that there was very little drifting taking place. The infield was littered with stands and banners that blocked visibility from most locations. Having attended events at other locations I'd have to say the Long Beach layout was the absolute worst.

Took my son and his friends. It was awesome! We met Jonattan Castro from the Dominican Republic. We took pictures of a lot of hotties, bought some t-shirts, and got free stuff! We plan on going to the October competition.

I really enjoy watching the drift cars, the drivers are spunky and exciting. However, I heard they had changed the scoring to make it more understandable to the fans, when I feel they should have left it the way it was. There was way too much time between the runs and the decision! Left us scratching our heads!

This year was too dope !
Kind of bummed that Mr.Powers wasn't again to
strut his game on the track. As well as Joon Maeng
I was stoked to see him drift as well since he did qualify
totally bummed his car gave out :( But over all great
Event scion racing booth never disappoints with their free

Unbelievable!!! Any automotive enthusiast should go to this event no matter how old or young! They have the best of foreign and domestic cars, roaring V8's and turbos obliterating tires in clouds of smoke! They also have plenty of custom cars and high end cars on display(E39 E60 & F10 M5's, X6M, R35 GTR's Ferrari F430, Limited Edition 1 in 600 GT3RS 4.0, Plenty of AMG cars, also plenty of American Cars-Mustangs, Camaros, etc...) You can also walk the pit lanes of the drifters and see the actual drift cars on display, and meet the drivers. Pretty amazing!

My Friends and I had a blast at the opening of the season for Formula Drift Long Beach 2013. And can't wait till next year, I recommend these races to anyone that like fast cars. It is for sure a sight to see these cars go 80mph sideways around the track

Went to this event 5 years ago, it wasn't this crowded before!!! I wish they did a little better with the seating, maybe add another big screen at the end of the course. I definitely should have purchased the tickets sooner!
Yea tickets sucked(got the standing room only), but it was still a great time!! Drifting is so fun to watch! The skill of these drivers is incredible!

5 Stars for the sick Formula D race, but no stars for the organization of Formula D of creating "standing only". General Admission should be first come and first serve not standing. Overall it was pretty great.
