If you haven't seen the Crue, you are missing out! They are the most exciting group I have ever seen, and I will see them again every chance I get. Watching Mick Mars play was an honor. He is so talented- he is the greatest guitarist alive. Nikki Sixx is such a great showman, Tommy was a ball of energy and interacted with the croud quite a bit, and Vince was at the top of his game. I couldn't recommend them any higher. GO SEE MOTLEY CRUE!!!!!!

Crue was horrible. Mick was out of tune and his rhythm and timing was off. Vince had notes all over the stage for the lyrics of the songs. Vince forgot the words and would just hum because he had no idea what the lyric were. Without Tommy, drumming like a mad man it would have been a complete waste of time.
Godsmack was tight and everything sounded clean. They sounded like the seasoned veterans and should have been headlining.
Theory of a Deadman was not my type of music but they were still better then Crue.
Drowning (Pool) SOIL was good with the new singer (formerly from SOIL) singing the old stuff but the new album sounded pretty much like every other SOIL album.

What's up with that?
From the start of my experience, to the final humour of Tommy Lee!
The show lacked stage presence and powerful playlist..seriously!
They could all have stepped up to the plate even though the show was, an attedance flop.
Big hassel by the way, Give me the best seat the first time.
True Crew fans did make the show's lack of WoW, Ful - fill- Ful !
Keep Rocking Crew...great effort Perry!
Hope Steve Tyler feels better soon!
peace and ouT!

What a great show. Motley Crue rocks! Airbourne also was very good. Liked joe Perry too. The staff at the ACC though did not seem to know the procedure for those of us holding special package tickets.

On a scale of 1 to 10 One being horrible and 10 being excellent here is my review.
Airbourne - 7 Very good band, Great voices reminded me allot of Skid Row when they were younger I would give them 4 stars.
Joe Perry Project - 1 Very dull and boring couldn't wait for that to end I would give them 1 star.
Motley Crue - 3 I have seen them before and they put on a great show then but this time they were a huge disapointment. Vince Neil has lost his voice and there act was really bad. Did you notice all the people leaving really early? I would give them 1 star.

Airbourne was just okay. They're basically an AC/DC cover band. All of their songs sound the same but probably a good fit with Crue.
The Joe Perry Project was horrible. We left after the first two songs. Perry is a fair guitarist at best, and does not work well on his own. You really need someone fronting the band who can engage the audience (hello, Steven....). Perry just could not do it on his own. We heard the last few bars of Walk This Way (his closing number). When the song was over, you could basically hear a pin drop. Terrible.
Airbourne should definitely have been the second act. At least they had the place rocking.
Crue was essentially what to be expected. Vince (Neil) is clearly a seasoned vet and knows how to get the place rocking. The music was mediocre at best. Mick (Mars), Nikki (Sixx) and Tommy (Lee) were all just okay. No drum or bass solos, which was disappointing. No big stage rigs, naked chicks or anything like that. The Crue is definitely getting old. They made mention of their 30th anniversary next year, so hopefully next year will be more dramatic. This one fell flat.
Guns and Roses were here two weeks ago. An absolutely awesome show. I would definitely give it 4.5 stars. Do yourself a favour. Save your money on Crue and spend it on GNR.

Show was pretty good. This was the most scaled back version of the 4 shows that they have recently played in winnipeg. Micks guitar sounded real good, but from my side of the stage I could barely hear Nikki's Bass. Songs like looks that kill didn't have that thundering bass that I am use to when hearing Motley Crue live, But I must say that every time I see crue, Mick Mars seems to sound and play better. Lots of Pyro which is always cool , and the light show was pretty good too. No video screens, or anything else on stage like previous tours , but really I was there for the music...

Motley Crue would have been a much better experience if more than just the mosh pit could see the band. Spend less money on pyro guys and invest in an AV team to project you to the masses. Arena shows need big screens...if you can't afford them then tour in smaller venues. Based on the repeatedly reduced to as low as free ticket prices the bands popularity doesn't warrant the venue. My guess is that the 30th anniversary tour will have to hit the Walker!

It was the tightest, less frilled (except for some fire and pyro), themed setup they have ever had, but it was all about the music. The only favorite song they didn't play was "Too Young to Fall in Love", but they did all the rest and a few new ones.\
My only disappointment was that Tommy didn't do a drum solo.

Motley Crue put on a great show. They could have had a bit more interaction with the crowd to get people going. Vince Neil might want to try a few voice lessons to adapt to his voice getting older.
Does Joe Perry think he can actually sing?? I could hear his voice above the singer's and it was out of tune most of the time. Not a good band at all. Should have had Sixx AM opening.

some after thoughts, first, Godsmack, don't see at all what the hype is over these guys, they can't play guitar to save their lives, I guess if you like drums and don't care at all about good guitar or vocals for that natter you'd like them live, I was pretty bored exception of the drum solos, only most of that was a bunch of classic rock cover songs, so that was kinda lame too for that reason although I did like that they at least they honored some great rockers with that segment. On a scale of 1-10 I would give Godsmack a 4, and only because of the excellent drumming, but that's it. Rude depressing lyrics, rude depressing jerk stain GS fans, terrible poser guitar playing especially the leads if you can even call them leads, vocalist is very mono tone, he has no range and I was getting a little sick of the overuse of flames shooting up all over the place the entire time, the only special effect they had, it got old fast, like their music as all their songs sound the same. Now Crue on the other hand put on an awesome awesome stage show, the effects were unreal, 2 of the hottest LA strippers you ever laid eyes on and the music was perfect, only part I didn't like was Mick's guitar solo, it was pretty horrible, he should just stick to playing the standard songs and leads which he did just awesome and hang up the fake solo, us seasoned lead guitarists know when someone is faking it, it was bad, still much better guitar work than Godslack though, won't ever pay to see GS again, blech. Glad Crue kicked butt or the night woulda been a mega yawn. Btw, I had tenth row center, so I saw and heard everything perfect from there, can''t miss much from that distance.

Crue Fest was UNBELIVEABLE! I've always liked Crue but didn't think I'd ever go to one of their concerts. I got the tickets for my husband and I think I had a better time than he did! THEY ALL ROCKED! I love Theory - they were great. Drowing Pool - I'm not a huge fan but I they were good. Then GODSMACK took the stage and I gotta say I was on my feet the whole time. When they brought out both drum sets - it was crazy! I really thought they put on a great show and I knew only a couple of their songs. Finally Crue took the stage and WOW! They were all ON! Vince sounded great - they all were great. I was IMPRESSED. WHAT A SHOW - DO NOT MISS IT if you have a chance to go!!!! My top concert of all time!

Motley Crue was alright. They played alot of slow songs and saved Girls,Girls,Girls for their last song. Tommy Lee didnt even play which really sucked. What was the most disappointing was that it wasnt a very wild show. Their where 2 dancers that danced. Come on its motley crue, their suppposed to have the most wild shows. Godsmack, Theory, And Drowning Pool was good. But Godsmack blew me away. They rocked! They got the crowd so pumped up and they where on longer than Motely Crue. It felt more like a Godsmack concert than a Crue concert. If their is a Crue Fest 3 i will go see it but it better be better than 2.
