It is nice to know that the last WCHA Broadmoor Trophy belongs to Wisconsin. With all of the other hockey fans in attendance, mostly cheering against UW, they witnessed an excellent game between two strong teams.

This was the worst we have ever seen the Gophers play in over 30 years - what a huge disappointment and waste of our time and money. So excited for the game and a big bummer!

The FF was great but now with the new leagues forming it will not be the same. This might be a great event in the future and I might catch a game or two but it will not be the same. My alliance will be with the new NCHC!

The WCHA championship game between Wisconsin & Colorado College was very entertaining. The Excel Energy Center and surrounding bars and restaurant's is a great destination for hockey fan's.

Great hockey, loved every game. Can't recommend an event that will never be seen again. So sad. Been going for many years, enjoyed ND, Minn, & Wisconsin compete. Unfortunately the Big 10 tourney will be fewer teams (4), fewer games (4), and chance to not have a "local" team in the event. Going will be last minute decision. With all my favorite teams leaving the WCHA, it will never be the same.

I bought a five game session pass and was only able to attend one game. I was bullied by a fan that made me uncomfortable to return for the other games. I realize I could have changed seats but this person was so rude and confrontational that I decided not return. So glad I wasted a lot of money.

When I bought the tickets it said end of ice that home team shot at twice. That was wrong and I would have looked for other tickets. Get this right

As always, there is truly no other college hockey conference tournament or championship so well attended and enjoyed by all fans at such an excellent facility as the WCHA FInal 5. Why someone's donation to Penn State had to ruin such a fun event in the future is beyond me but it certainly provides insight into all that is wrong with the NCAA and college sports. It's ALL about the almighty dollar with little regard for the fan experience....the people by the way who ACTUALLY SUPPORT the sport itself.
Full credit to the WCHA and the Xcel Energy Center! It's been a wonderful event, with mostly passionate and knowledgeable fans who are respectful but entertaining as well. As a Rodent Nation fan, I'll be at the WCHA next year as well...Big Ten Hockey is laughable as a conference!

Sorry to see the Big Ten get greedy and form their own conference. All the hockey fans will lose in the end. The Xcel is a great venue but here are few suggestions:
1) get an organ player
2) make the food and drinks affordable. Gripe....I can get a better beer and pizza outside the X for half the cost.
3) and if one want to see real hockey...put in an olympic size sheet!

Everything was good except it was very cold! Had to sit with coat and gloves on. When sitting for several hours at a time watching hockey it was pretty miserable. Most of the people on our section were feeling the same way. We were in Section 203.

This is the best hockey tournament the midwest has to offer! Not to mention it's played in one of the best arenas in the nation. Absolutely one of the best times of the year for hockey fans, five games in three days of the best college teams in the midwest. Downtown St. Paul has a lot to offer, I suggest alarys bar on 7th street and jackson. Great memories I'll never forget!
