I expected a few of the oldies and some new stuff and I got much much more. Songs from Alan Parson Project and Argent. Great harmonies. Great musicians. We were blown away. It was THAT good.

WOW! This was the 1st date of a months tour. Colin's voice was unbelievable. Spot on fantastic. Rod was also right on and very animated. Unbelievable from a couple of 67 year olds. Jim Rodford is on bass, his son Steve Rodford is on drums and an excellent guitarist Keith Airey completes the lineup. Great Band! Colin forgot his monitor ear piece at the start of the show so it took 5 minutes before they got started. They dedicated summertime to a little girl that was falling asleep on her Daddy shoulder in front. Airy gave a couple of young fans (8 year olds) the setlists at the end of the show as they left the stage. It was a great crowd who really appreciated them.Almost 2 hrs of bliss. Don't miss them if they are playing near you! The setlist was to the best of my memory which might be a song or 2 off.

We saw the Zombies (ok Colin Blunstone and Rod Argent) last night at the Hard Rock. Never had the chance to see them in "the day" as they never really toured the South and broke up early. Blunstone's voice was still strong and he could still hit all the notes. He sang stuff from his Zombie days (including songs off the new album), solo, and Alan Parsons Project. Argent was his usual theatrical self and pounded the keys just like the old days. He is a great keyboardist as most of you know, even playing the piano on the Who's - Who Are You. Jim Rodford plays with them now and he was one of the original members of Argent and he had played bass with the Kinks. So of course they did Hold Your Head Up and my favorite Argent song - God Gave Rock and Roll To You. They did quite a few songs off Odessey and Oracle (an album I love and Allmusic gave the album five stars out of five, calling it "one of the flukiest (and best) albums of the 1960s, and one of the most enduring long-players to come out of the entire British psychedelic boom" They said from the stage that they never got to play any of the songs live because they had broken up right after the album came out, lol. The lead guitar player and drummer, were of course, younger and they could play - that's why they got hired, lol.
Of all it was great music and fun to watch these old British rockers who still had it. Genny and I were both surprised at their enthusiasm and their stage presence. They talked to the crowd quite a bit and seem to have a good time.
We bought the new album there (autographed of course, ha) and it is very good.
Probably will not have a chance to see them, they only have a few American dates then they are back in England. But if they come back around I think everyone from the gang would enjoy them. Next week the Moody Blues at the Beau Rivage and then Clapton at the New Orleans Arena.

This was one of the better concerts I have attended in recent years. Colin Blunstone and Rod Argent with the Zombies? Are you kidding me? These old classic rockers were superb. Great 4-part harmony vocals, tight, crisp song arrangements, good interaction with the audience. The band is comprised of virtuoso musicians who clearly love what they do. Many of the young bands today could (and probably should) take lessons from these guys. Thank you for presenting The Zombies. And please bring them back soon.

I have seen the Zombies before and as before they were great. Rod's keyboards are fantastic, their band is great but my favorite thing is Colin's voice. He has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. They were so gracious to the fans at the meet and greet before the show also.

Absolutely Brilliant!! My wife & I saw these guys last year as well!! This show was top notched!! Colin's voice was excellent, & the rest of the entire band, (collectively & individually) were totally awesome!! Of course most everybody hears songs they would prefer to "exchange" for other favorites of personal choice., & I am no exception. "Show Me The Way" from their latest CD is OK, not great. "Hold Your Head Up" I wasn't crazy about back in the day, & now it's extended, louder than the other songs, & tends to bore me. In my own personal opinion, "Home" is one one the most incredible songs they've ever recorded, which would be a wonderful addition to the set, being more akin to the other Zombies songs. And also Colin recorded another "Beauty" some years back that would be a welcomed addition as well..."Emma My Dear" recorded with The Bolland Project. I love The Zombies & Colin's other projects, as well as his solo work. This show was most enjoyable, & we'll go back again the next time they're around!! Great Show!!

They may be the Zombies but these guys are far from dead! I thouroughly enjoyed this show. The musicianship was spot on and the group seemed to be enjoying themselves. I would have liked to have seen a few more extended songs; especially a bit more of Tom on some acoustic solos. If they come back, I certainly will too!

Playing together now for 50 years. Colins voice was incredible. Rod had excellent vocals, keystrokes and the rest of the band was incredibly tight. The basis started with The Kinks. They played a mixture of new songs and old songs and covered everything you wanted to hear. There new album is incredible. It sounds like it was recorded in 1965. I enjoy seeing a band playing together for 50 years and still looking like they loved every minute onstage. They played 3 songs more than they had planned. The crowd was incredibly enthusiastic. 3 standing ovations during the show. Well deserved and well worth it. Mixed in a little Argent as well.

Innovative British Invasion band woke up the reserved audience at the Hardrock in Biloxi with a mixture of music from their latest albums and songs from the past. This band is alert with good songs, smart arrangements, crisp instrumentation, and strong singing. No bells and whistles, gimmicky lights, or production. Just 5 people playing and singing with straight ahead rock and roll gear. These guys should be an inspiration to any band, particularly bands charging large ticket prices while using Telecasters as props and cigarette holders, going through the motions. They sing and play as if they enjoy it and are glad they still can. Colin Blunstone's voice is in good form and an effective instrument.

I am a Zombies fan and have attended several shows in recent years.
This was the best concert.
Colin was in terrific voice.
Rod's playing and singing were top notch.
Tom Toomey is a fabulous guitarist/musician.
Steve Rodford is a very musical, outstanding powerhouse drummer.
Jim Rodford holds everything together with his impeccable rhythm on bass and makes the group swing, too.
