My husband and myself think that the 2011 event was better than the 2009 event, they were both great but this year was better.

Opening act(s): Tim Hus. Pretty good C&W singer but played too long. Didn't pay to see him. @

Good sound. Lighting was not great. Tom has some great facial expressions but stage too dark to see. Opening artist. played too long (didn't need more of him in second set)

While Stompin Tom has just gotten better with age, and it was him that I paid my $75 to go see, I was very disapointed that the majority of the concert was of the opening act, Tim Hus. Tim was a great performer, but not what I paid to see. I understand that Stompin Tom is getting up there in years, and my husband and I expected about a 60-90 minute concert because of this. We did not expect a 3 hour long event (with 30 minute intermission) where he sang a handful of songs and Mr Hus was onstage more. The concert was billed as Stompin Tom, not Tim Hus and Stompin Tom.
