We went to the show yesterday and had a wonderful time,the show was fantasic and our seats were perfect, we are going to make sure we see another event at the Tropicana and hopefully have time to stay the night and have some more fun.

The show was very entertaining. I took my 15 year old daughter and my 10 year old son and his friend. They boys are in the local production of Footloose and were very excited to see it before there opening show. We were alittle confused why all the guys had girly close on with sparkles and thought that the cast was wonderful for the exception of Ren , that acted alittle to feminine for the part. It was a very enjoyable day with my children.Oh! They were alittle disappointed that they did not get a Play Bill.

What a great show! Loved Ariel-little pitchy though...still quite good. The
adults were wonderful as well as the ensemble. Rusty was so cute and so was her boyfriend. I wish he would focus his energy more. Too many choices-didn't know who he was trying to be. He doesn't need to try so hard. Ren had a nice natural energy he just needs some more training. Great casting choice with the Rev and his wife. Ren's mother was perfectly flighty and was a nice contrast. The Afro-American girl had a great voice. Wanted more of her. The Bigger girl looked kind of dead pan most of the time but sang well. Chuck was dynamite! Some of the strongest moments in the show come from him and Ariel. Are they together in real life? Their chemistry was out of this world. Where can we see more of them!?! Great dancing/singing-Well above the production value for a casino show-Go see FOOTLOOSE!

I quite enjoyed this show with the exception of Ren and Willard. I don't even know where to begin with Ren...I hope he has a good day job cause the acting thing isn't working! I'm not quite sure why everyone is gushing over the overly exaggerated antics of Willard. His Mama song was one of the weakest numbers of the evening all around. Poorly staged, lit and performed. He can bearly hold onto his accent or masculinity during the show-but all I can say on a positive note is that those two are perfectly matched. What a shame with such a stong cast surrounding them. Ariel was great but seemed to be shooting for a few notes out of her range. She also didn't seem that upset when she gets beat up. Wish she had a little more depth. The 3 local girls were delightful as well as the Reverend. Chuck was disturbed. I like him but a tad bit scary. The children were so energetic and powerful. They definitely made the show for me. It was fun but i'm SO glad It was only an hour and a half.

I have seen this show twice...once with family and once with friends. I gotta tell you that I LOVED the movie...wasn't sure it could be topped, The opening number showed an ensemble group of youthful dancers who were talented and enthusiastic...you got drawn into the show at that point. The leading lady was wonderful...beautiful and talented. Disappointed with the lead guy....not quite sure how he earned the role when you could hear stronger male voices from the Ensemble. Also, there was no chemistry between he and Ariel, which was ashame! Willard was quite funny and his awkward lanky dancing was enjoyable. Gotta tell you though....absolutely LOVED the Mama Says number. The three guys who backed up Willard were funny, animated and had great harmonies...Well done, guys! Ariel's three girlfriends were awesome....Rusty belted out her song with such passion that I wanted to jump to my feet and give her a standing ovation!!! The closing number, Footloose, was really terrific as well....such strong voices and incredible dancers....Well done, Ensemble....You deserve accolades for such a terrific performance. I would mention you by name, but there were no programs...oh well, you know who you are :)

We enjoyed the show very much, but were very disappointed with the lead singer's voice. He should not have been the lead singer, as he was most times "off key"; and I would say his voice was very weak. With all of the talent in the show, another choice for the lead would have been much better. Other than that, it was very entertaining and the sets were perfect for that venue.

I went to see Footloose last night with a big group of 7, and we all loved it! The singing and dancing is so impressive - this is the best supporting cast ever. The lead who plays Ariel is really amazing - she totally steals the show. If you are in AC, don't miss it!

The choreography was good and the cast was excellent! Set changes were fluid and non-disrupting. Show moved along at good pace.

Wow-How do you mess up Footloose? Cast that kid a REn. Does he even care to be up there? He looks bored and does he know people can see him? Such a shame with such a strong supporting cast! Ariel and all the 3 girls were delightful. The Wendy Jo and Rusty were fabulous and the other girl was a knock out as well! The country guy was ok-just wish he was a little more presents during his mama number. just looked like mugging. I especially loved the rev's wife and Betty blast stole the show! Wish we saw more of her and less of what's his name. Take him out chuck..for everyone's sake! Good for a cheap night but bring ear plugs for ren's numbers!

Well, Well, Well....They were pretty! The show was good except the lead guy was a JOKE! Has he ever done a show? I mean, like seriously! Get it together. Why should ariel or anyone have to deal with him?!? I don't know where to even begin! And willard?!? Stop Shmacting! These two need some formal training like wow! Willard could take out the Taliban with that machine gun vibrato! And why was he all of a sudden a "legit" singer for Mamma Says-AND...Accent?! Hello?! Wow-The girls were all Great thank God! The definately carried the show. Ariel's mom and dad were great as well! Wish they had more to do. Great energy from the ensemble-wish they were a litle more together. Ok It's fun-could be better but what can you expect from a Casino.

What a wonderful group of performers! You really see the sheer joy when they are onstage. Everyone is giving 120%! Good show! I'd also like to point out that there is only one thing more subjective than beauty-Talent! And I for one think each and everyone is brimming with talent. You should all be very proud!

Wow What energy! Loved every song! Brought back so many memories from college-I still do theater myself and love seeing fresh talent! Ariel is a knockout as well as her side kicks! Chuck definitely stole the show as well as the Reverend. So nice to see strapping, singing men in Musical Theater. These two are spot on and some of the strongest I've seen regionally for a while. If this was a afternoon show i'll certainly have to come back for an evening performance. Bravo men! Ren....Hmmmm. Was he sick? And did they run out of programs? Willard was pretty good too-when he wasn't trying to steal focus-direction maybe? In any case don't miss this show!

The troupe had talented and energetic dancers but their singing left a lot to be desired. The auditorium seats had ample legroom but some seats are a bit low to view part of the stage. Sound amplification: too loud for me.

I have to say that my favorite character in the play was the Reverand. EXCELLENT singing voice and acting abilities! He really put his heart and soul into the part and played it beautifully. The lead "Ren" was just not believable. He could not sing and his dancing was poor. He just did not give any type of chemistry or justice to his counter Ariel, who was beautiful, talented and magnificent. I was very confused as to why he was cast for the lead?? All of the girls were great and very talented, and the dancing was awesome, one dancer definately stood out (a little blonde girl) showing very high energy and unbelievable talent!! Willard was also a favorite of mine as well as his girlfriend who was beautiful and had a very beautiful voice.
I would have rated the show a 4.5 if they had casted a better lead role for Ren.
