This is the second time I have seen this band. There have been a few changes with the members and a few changes as to who sings what , but these guys put on a really good show. The instrumental talent of these guys is what makes this show work. The only thing that I found to be a disappointment was that the venue was only half full. And what a Venue! That place is just beautiful! They needed more advertising for that area.

I have never seen Pink Floyd live so my observations likely don't carry as much weight as someone's who has seen them. There was no doubt that the musicians playing in the PInk Floyd Experience are exceptional and really shone in the skill department. But unfortunately the evening seemed to never reach the height of exhilaration that I was hoping for. A Pink Floyd light show is not reasonable to expect from a tribute band but there are so many songs in their catalog to choose from that one would expect they would choose the ones that captured the audience and had pulled them in. Instead, The Pink Floyd Experience chose only 2 or 3 of the songs that really seemed to put their namesake band on the map they were well done but left the audience somewhat underwhelmed. Exceptional musicians. Excellent sound quality. Poor setlist.

The tribute band was VERY good, but the experience was RUINED due to our seats! We were third row on an isle and you would of thought we would of had GREAT seats. BUT that was FAR from the case! My husband sat in seat one and didn't even know there was a drummer or a screen to watch. I could tell there was a screen from my seat, but couldn't see what was on the screen. The screen was a MAJOR part of the show. That is the WHOLE experiance part! VERY, VERY, DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

These guys would make Syd of the original Pink Floyd proud. The music and vocals
were dead on every song they did. All six guys are awesome musicians and have the vocals down too. The light show gets better and better as the 2.5 hour show goes on.
There must have been at least twelve or more standing ovations by a crowd that was from high school age to seventy five plus! (I'm 61) The flying Pink Pig was really cool at the end.
If you liked Pink Floyd back in the day you really should catch this show.
The big screen they had behind them had everything from Jelly Lights to video and stills that went along with the songs they were doing.

Met my expectations. The instrumentals were dead on although they did'nt quite recreate David Gilmore's distinct guitar sound. Jesse on sax, guitars,and keyboards was a standout performer musically as well as his stage presence. I've never been a big fan of Floyd's earlier experimental period and the Experience played a fairly large number of those. Missed the 3 girl backup singers although I do understand the budget limitations." Great Gig In The Sky" would have made my night, but alass. All in all the 2 1/2 hrs. went by quickly and it seemed as all in the audience were into it. Would recommend.

They mixed it up with alot of old cuts from The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, Meddle, and Obscured by Clouds then on to The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall. Great mix.
They can sing very well but the vocals don't sound much like Floyd. The sound makes up for it.

These are amazing musicians. They played the gamut of the years through different Pink Floyd songs, some obscure tracks most have never heard, and some tracks that made the top 40 even. Simple stage setup so that you could focus on the music. I enjoyed the event immensely. I hope they come through the area again....I'll see them again if they do!

Having been to every tour of a Pink Floyd Concerts starting in the early 70s and continued through "Pulse". As well as having the entire collection of there music as well as entire individual collection of each members solo albums/cds I came to this event with much reservation.
My expectation of the concert would be a " hearing yet another rehash of Money, Time, Wish you were here, and The Wall cuts.
I was pleased when the tribute band played cuts from The Piper At The gates Of Dawn, Ummagumma, Atom Heart Mother, Meddle, A Saucerful of Secrets, Animals. And Obscured By Clouds. This music range had the cuts that Syd Barret performed to what was the current band after Roger Waters left and Richard Waters died.
The Tribute band was well balanced and played well.
The rational for only four stars was based on several issues. The first half of the set was met by a tepid audience perhaps the Thursday play date had something to do with that. However as in all live performances the band feeds off this energy. Thus I think they were just going though the "motions". Another set back was the cut Echoes, The Echoes cut is rather long and has several changes in beat as well as rhythems . Echoes ( for me anyway) is a flowing rhythmic as well as dynamic cut, The music has the flow of what Pink Floyd did on "Dark Side of the Moon, and the bass pattern and drums was sensitive to what I would like to think of Native American Native tribal beat. So I was disappointed when the PFX band cut the song in half as well as having difficulty with the rhythem/beat changes
Pink Floyd's Music is popular in part due the harmony and seamless movement from song to song. Each instrument provides an overall layer to that cut. Each note whither it from a drum beat or organ beat has meaning. This is what separates Pink Floyd from other groups. FTX on the first set had issues with all this, FTX rather then "flow" from cut to cut broke the flow by allowing "dead air" until the band started up again, and at times overlapped each other as if they were in a hurry to finish the set.
The second half of the concert was better received, The audience was more "in to it" and ( I feel) energized the band. The cuts the band performed were well played and had heart.
Over all I feel That if your a fan of "Pink Floyd", and enjoy there music I would come to this concert. If you want to hear a full range of there music this would be a concert to see. For the most part I felt entertained, and that the cost of a ticket was well spent.

These were 6 amazing musicians. 4 of them were older and did a fantastic job. They obviously loved playing this music and it showed. The other 2 were much younger and also very talented. Although I didn’t sense their passion for Pink Floyd they really played well. Of those two their utility player was awesome on the saxophone. And their lead singer could really sing and obviously had training in singing. They played many great PF songs. Some I didn’t hear I would have liked too but obviously not possible with the amount of great stuff that PF did. Even my wife liked the show and she is not a PF fan. If you like PF, don’t miss an opportunity to see this group.
