This is our second year attending A Christmas Carol, and we enjoyed it as much as we did the first time. I believe this will now be an annual tradition. It really is a well-cast/professional production, that I would compare to just about anything on Broadway. Scrooge, of course was terrific. Marvelous Actor...really superb. The Children were perfectly cast and obviously talented. The play would not be suitable for children under 6 years of age, as Christmas Future there are some parts that might frighten them. The cast is fantastic and it is difficult to get a bad seat in Ford's.
The theater ticket also includes admission to the Peterson house across the street where President Lincoln died. You are able to view three rooms in the house and the back porch leads to the Center for Education and Leadership Center, which features two floors of permanent exhibits addressing the immediate aftermath of Lincoln's death and the evolution of Lincoln's legacy. There is also a floor for rotating exhibits. It is an interesting museum.
