This was my first visit to the Alaska Airlines Arena - a near ideal place to see a college basketball game. Nicely remodeled yet with 85 years of history, I am sure it becomes very loud with a full house.
Since I only needed a single seat I got a great ticket at mid-court just up from the UW student section - couldn't have asked for a better seat.
The staff was very helpful, food and drink service abundant (even if choices rather standard and boring). The additon of Avar's is a nice alternative.
The attached Uof W Hall of Fame was interesting and well presented and the clothing/gift store very impressive.
Best of all the music was NOT too loud, I didn't cringe in pain as I do in so many basketball/sports arenas.
Hope to see more CU/UW basketball games in future years

Favorite moment: Too bad the basketball wasn't a bit better, neither team impressed. I still can't think of Boyle as a coach as I use to watch him playing for Kansas. @
