All the comics were great. It was awesome to get such a variety of comedians in one show. You got to see several styles in one night . It kept the show interesting and funny for the whole show which is hard to do with just one comedian no matter how good they are.
Only downfall was a heckler who thought he was funnier than one of the comics. He definetly wasn't. You wouldn't get drunk and start shouting during a play or concert, don't do it during stand up. Other people have paid money to see the comic that evening, not listen to you spout random crap.

Roy Woods Jr. was MC for the night and he was very funny. We laughed until we cried at most of his jokes. Also loved, loved, loved Tommy Johnigan's set! I was very disappointed in FELIPE ESPARZA. He joked alot about coke and drugs and I believe he wasnt joking. He seemed high on something and did not deliver even one laughable joke. I am astonished that he was overall winner of last Comic Standing! The crowd was pretty much silent during his set! I overall enjoyed the show, but would never pay to see
FELIPE ESPARZA or MYQ KAPLAN individually!

I was disappointed with this show. It was not the Last Comic Standing that aired on tv. There was no need for as much foul language and jokes. Roy Wood Jr was the only comedian who seemed prepared and knew his audience. Mike DeStefano, big disappointment. He was our favorite on tv but our least favorite at the show. He did not seem prepared nor did he even seem to have 20 minutes of material. He bombed as far as I am concerned. And his choice of jokes did not represent the Last Comic Standing tour that I was expecting. Myq Kaplan obviously did not know the audience either. Jewish and religious jokes in the heart of the bible belt was not too smart. If Roy Wood Jr ever comes back to Montgomery or Birmingham we will certainly go see him; but the others -- no way.

All performers were great. The event started on time. Montgomery Performing Arts Center was excellent for the show. More comedy shows should be coming to Montgomery. There is a good audience for that.

Roy Wood Jr was hysterical and the ONLY comic that night who actually did the work and came up with some clever stuff. Tommy Johns was clever but just not as funny as Wood. The rest were lazy and condescending.....resorting to a foul mouth and sex jokes to get the easy laughs. The second comic, whose name escapes me, just didn' t want to be in Alabama. He would be doing us a favor if he just stayed away next time.

I understand that I won't find every comic hilarious, and I'm ok with that. I am not ok with someone comepletely having no respect for my Savior, Jesus Christ. There are things that we will not agree on, and I understand, but it does not give you the right to make disrepectful jokes about Jesus. Not only were these jokes not funny, but they were offensive. I would not recommend this show.

What makes 4 of the 5 comics believe it is "funny" to introduce their acts, by insulting their audience?
The irony, I suppose, is that if their stereotypical presentation of the Southern White populace was, in the least, true, the comics would have been "strung up", before they reached their prepared material. I tolerated the first 3 comics; but, by the 4th... enough was enough.

While we love the show on NBC and expected the live show to be a bit more R rated, we did NOT think the show would be X rated. There should have been a disclamer for that as we know 90% of the material would have never been on NBC. Roy brought the house down and he was the only one we throughly enjoyed, and his content was all appropriate.

Comedians are not like musicians. An average musician can still be entertaining and enjoyable - an average comedian isn't so funny. That said, it is a lot tougher. There is little gray area. You're either funny or not - no inbetween.

NBC's Last Comic Standing was enjoyable but brought no fireworks to Denver. The reality of the performance is that there's a reason these comics are not recognizable names as of yet; they are still learning to master their craft. The problem with viewing 5 comedians for 20-30 minutes apiece is that at the end of the night, you realize you've only seen repeated jokes about three topics: Drug use, sexuality, ethnicities.

The venue was lovely but organization be the theatre staff was mediocre. A good night out, plenty of laughs were shared, but all and all, not worth the ticket price.

The comedy was just par. For the best last commic standing had to offer it was disapointing. The MC comedian was good and then it went down hill from there. The winner did a very short routine, he could have did a little more considering he won. Mike Destephano was the saving grace. Catch him by himself and you will not be disapointed. My sides still hurt from his routine.

Go to any NYC club for a better show, The other guys are not worth mentioning.

Paid too much money for 2nd row seats with terrible acoustics. 2 out of 5 comics were somewhat funny...show was so bad even the comedians were making fun of the audience for not reacting to their humor....

This comic tour is great! Not only did each comic stand out with their own unique personality, it was very cool to see these comics who we had just seen on the television competition. I did remember some of their material, however 90% of it was new and often unrated. If you like stand up comedy, then this is a perfect opportunity for a really fun night out.
