We enjoyed the symphony, " Cirque de la Symphonie" very much. The orchestra sounded wonderful and the circus acts were thrilling and coordinated beautifully. It was a very festive event and well attended. My only comment is that since so many children were there, I think the Maestro could have spoken more to the kids as did Leonard Bernstein during the concerts for young people. The music played in between circus acts was lovely, but long for a youth audience. We did not have children with us, but were surrounded by kids of all ages and experienced their restlessness. I'm not sure if children were encouraged to attend this performance or not, but I think they were, considering the number there.
I think this was a very successful event and hope that more will follow with this creativity.

To think that there is so much talent in this area is unbelievable. Mariusz Smolij is such a wonderful conductor along with the orchestra, guest solists and the choir. Everyone from Grandma to my ten year old son enjoyed the performance. It was a wonderful night of music.

I couldn't wait to get to this concert. Had purchased my tickets in advance to insure good seats. I grew up with Elton John's music and have not found anyone who can match his style and talent. His mastery is truly a God-given gift. I was able to see him once in a live performance. If I would have closed my eyes while listening to this concert, I would not have been able to tell he wasn't there except for the singing voice being different. The music was beautifully performed just as it is heard on my LP's. Awesome performance!
