Being from the metropolitan area I had doubts about making the trip over a hundred miles to see MTB but the venue was spacious both opening band were sick and the crowed was unpretentious. There was a big parking lot for tailgating but if you couldn't endure the cold the bar inside was very reasonably priced, took credit cards and had good service. I highly recommend everyone to check out Minus for some good sweaty times to quality music!

What a treat. Three shows in one. I am 53 years old and been attending concerts since 1975 when I saw Santana and Eric Clapton perform at Nassau Coliseum. I had no idea that Maps and Atlases would also be performing with Minus the Bear. I very much enjoyed their wonderful performance, and appreciated Dave Davison's thanks to Minus the Bear. I would also like to say thanks to Minus the Bear to including Phantogram in this concert. What a clever performance. Very fresh and unique musical arrangements, excellent vocals (good job Sarah!), and stage performance with interesting lyrics, Just purchased their Music also. What can I say about Minus the Bear but what a fantastic performance and concert, I was surprised by the play list selection, what a excellent choice of songs from original to very new. Also very good venue, well managed bar, wth a fun and respectful audience. My thanks to Minus the Bear for delivering an awesome concert for your fans.

I had never heard of the two opening bands (The Lonely Forest and... I've already forgotten the other one) but they were a surprisingly awesome start to Minus. Good vocals from the singer of The Lonely Forest.

Minus rocked the house - live vocals spot on, tapping was beautiful... the drummer slowed up a few times which was a nuisance, but otherwise flawless.

I have seen Minus the Bear 7 times now. They always put on a great show and sound better in real life then on their album. This time wasn't the best I have seen them do but it was still awesome. After the show they are extremely personable and willing to answer questions. They come out with a new album in March!

I saw them last year and I had to see them again and once again they were absolutely amazing and sounded incredible live! I highly recommend people to see this band. I was also happy that they played Pachua Sunrise original ver.; not the acoustic version. Definitely running out and buying the new Album coming out and seeing them again in Spring!! Awesome Show!!!

This show was really worth going to, especially considering the price, this show was a bargain. Minus the Bear and As Tall as Lions really put on an insane show. Definitely one of the best shows I've been to.

Minus the Bear is a great band. They have groovy tunes and insightful lyrics. And they seem to be pretty popular as this was the first show of theirs I was able to get tickets to -- read: they sell out a lot. But despite this popularity, and for whatever reason, I saw them in a bar last night. A bar is not a "real" venue for a concert, and the Crazy Donkey was packed to the hilt, making my experience extremely uncomfortable.

Now, I'm also very into metal, and I've been to shows with mosh pits and crazy fans, so I'm used to being smushed against people, but Minus the Bear isn't that kind of band. I was expecting some breathing room, at least; maybe not to get consistently elbowed in the chest by the couple in front of me. It's good that you're enjoying the show, I'm happy for you, really... but for the sake of my boobs, could you move a little less? Thanks.

Moreover, I didn't even get my ticket as a souvenir as "Will Call" was a girl with a printed-out list of people who had bought tickets. No booth, no computer, no credit card machine; just a clipboard.

Minus the Bear themselves performed well, but if this is a trend of theirs, to ignore the size of their following and play in too-small joints with only one bathroom, then I'll just have to enjoy their music from the privacy and comfort of my headphones.

I've been a big fan of minus the bear for the past 4 years now and this was my first show (drove from Jersey to see it). Majority of the set was Planet of Ice but also through in the must haves from Menos El Oso and Highly Refined Pirates. Encore song was Pachuca Sunrise. Sound was great at the crazy donkey, you could easily differentiate between all the musicians and instruments. All in all it was amazing and I will be seeing them the next time they're in the tri-state area.

I'm at a lack of words to describe how amazing the show was. It was everything I ever dreamed of and more. They played over 15 songs and it was exactly the entertainment I expected from such an amazing band. Flawless

I saw Minus The Bear last night at Club Firestone. One of the best show's i hae seen. Played all the most amazing tracks were very into it. The crowd was great. Anyone who hasn't, should make it a point to see them live...often!!!

The show was sold out. My boyfriend and I were among maybe 3 couples over 40 in this crowd. My 20 year old son recommended MTB to me over 2 years ago and I have been a hardcore fan ever since. I have been to many concerts in my life but I have not enjoyed one as much as this one. The only thing I didn't like is the venue was way to small!
