The Merriweather post pavillion was perfect for this event, parking was free and close to venue, drinks and food regular priced like all concerts. When we arrived they did not have acts and stages psoted anywhere. I heard they handed out paper schedules and ran out. So, we did not know who was playing where and at what time, unitl we found someone with a list and we took a picture of it.
Most of the bands had merchandise booths, which was pretty cool. I wish Merriweather would have had a T shirt with M3 facts as well as the list of all the bands. That would have been really nice, I bet they would have sold out.
All the bands really rocked hard.. It was my first time to see Twisted Sister-I loved it-Dee's energy on stage was awesome, the crowd was truly going wild when they came out. However, my opinion is Kix, Ratt ,and Extreme rocked the best. They sounded like they did 20 years ago. I almost cried, it was truly one of the most memorable concerts ever!
The only thing that stopped me from rating it a 5, the two stages set up-which I knew-What I didn't know is that I would have to chose one band over another, because one band would be at the end of their set and the other would start about 10-20 mins early. Soooo, we paid to see all the bands and we didn't get to. I missed several acts I came to see.
