This musical was absolutely hilarious! They sing songs that are very well known, but they change the words.
Cynthia Jones plays the professional woman, Stacy Schwartz a soap star, Margot Moreland Earth mother, and Marsha Waterbury the Iowa housewife, are absolutely wonderful together. Even though they have done this many times it looks like they are having a blast while they are on stage.
Such as...The Lion Sleeps Tonight...the words are "In the guest room, or on the sofa, my huband sleeps tonight."
In My Guy...they sing about "food" sticking to "My thigh"
The lady who played the woman from Iowa had a voice like Carol Channing and the 'innocence' and akwardness of Betty White.
They also do one song and one woman comes out looking like Tina Turner.
I have not gone through the change, but have heard others talk about it, okay...I won't lie...I think I have had a heat flash or two and the forgetfulness. They have nailed a lot of the topics right on the head and they say things that you wish you could.
It was FABULOUS!!! Highly recommended!!!! I would definately go see it again.
