What can I say? The spud boys from Akron still ROCK IT. They played some new songs and a bunch of their old classics. I will never tire of the creativity and originality of Devo. The sound is great as they are, and always will be, one of the greatest bands of all time. The set, the show, the music, the look and sound of DEVO is truly inspiring. Thank you!

If you were there - you saw it -WOW
Worth every penny
The wife and i went not expecting too much but a date nite
Wholly ___ Devo put on a Great show
Had center close seats and never went to them - we stayed in the aisle dancing to every song
If these guys come to town
Go see them
I'm 50 and knew every song so it was cool to see the younger crowd moving to some music other than rap and pop

Do not forget that Devo was at the forefront of the new wave revolution in the late 70s and early 80s. They are STILL in excellent form here in 2012. Every bit as energetic as you would expect bands 30 years their junior to be. A can't miss show if you are a fan.

If it is their sound engineer, then its their problem. If its yours, you need a new one.

The sound balance was about the worst I've ever experienced, and I've done plenty of live performances. Why was it so important to crank the bass louder than the vocals? Between the bass over-amplification and drum level at maximum, that was about all that could be heard, and probably why Devo, and the warm-up band, failed to move the audience, except for a few in the front row.

D E V O! I am at a loss for words on how much fun the show was. Remember seeing them for the first time in the late 70's on SNL. This band changed my life. I was listening to bands like Kansas, Foreigner, Journey, etc. and they opened my eyes to a whole new world of music. I am amazed on how much energy they brought to the stage. The place was packed and the fan's really seemed to be enjoying themselves. Hopefully a whole new generation of spuds will emerge. My wife had a blast and she isn't a DEVO fan.

The opening act, The Punk Group, consisted of 2 guys playing guitars mostly, to decidedly new wave melodies with tougue in cheek lyrics. Pretty entertaining, though I liked the days when DEVO played without an opening act. DEVO came on at about 10 p.m. and played for about 75 minutes. The set apparently is the same one that they have been using for the recent shows in 2011. Not a long set but better than the 45 minute set from the Freedom of Choice show a few years ago. They don't have quite the energy as when I saw then in 78 at the Old Waldorf, but still an amazingly entertaining show. The don't really do an encore, where everyone claps and stomps until the band comes back. Instead, they say goodbye, leave while the DEVO corporate anthem plays, then return to the stage for Freedom of Choice and Beautiful World. Highly recommended.

Awesome show and crowd--so great, I considered following to the next city! Band totally interacted with the crowd and were energetic and engaged. We showed 30 min. early and were able to get within a few feet of the stage. Pretty fun opening act "The Punk Group". Worth the ticket price and two hr. drive . Will definitely catch them the next time they're in town!

It only took 30 years for me to finally get to see DEVO live, and what a great experience, what a great show! These guys haven't missed a beat, they sound great, they've got serious energy, and they're still getting it done, and done right. They may be a bit grey and not quite as skinny as they were back when I was a kid, but they know what they're doing and they do it right and it's fantastic. They made me really happy.

Devo's performance was enthusiastic and very enjoyable. The crowd was into it as well, even though it was smaller than I expected. The opening act Trippple Nippples was stellar. It was a unique show all around.

I was seated in front of VIP which these bimbos were dancing in front of me. $110 dollars plus another $150 in merchandice and beer purchases and couldn't see the show unless I stood up!! Why get a seat when the general admission you could see the band better? It is a very nice place however.

They start with cool videos, play a couple new songs mixed with old, and then they just start kicking ass... gaining momentum as they go! I have seen them 4 times and will always go back again when they are in the area. They never disappoint.

People think they are some gimmicky band, but they they have hard core punk rock roots, and it comes out when they play live. You can see they just love to do their thing, as their energy level is way up there.

Spoke with some people after the show that weren't DEVO fans and just happened to be there and the sentiment was the same with all of them. They said they didn't realize how great DEVO is, and they have a new found respect for the band. Take it from there.
