I'm a metalhead. I took my girlfriend to see Murs and I was very impressed! I've already heard some of his songs before, but seeing him live was amazing. He really knows how to captivate the audience and he's definitely got some jokes!
Definitely recommend.

I'm a little bias because Murs is my absolute favorite hip-hop artist, but the show was awesome. He played a couple of his new songs along with several of his older classics. He also mixed in his usual comedy and exchange with the crowd. I've seen him several times now and I have never been disapointed. His music is great, his vibe with the crown is positive & inspiring, and he is a must-see.

Once murs got on, things were awesome
FOUR opening acts before him though....
(but seeing as murs is mursly awesome, he of course came out with a 2 of the opening acts to roudy up the crowd)

Murs was great. Openers were ok.

Too bad tickets were so expensive. You could have sold 2x as many tix if they were $15.

Also, I know you hear this all the time but the fees are outrageous. I think I was offered insurance for $7 when checking out. Get real. $2.5 to be able to right click and press print??!! YOWZAZ

Very little time/waiting between sets of this show- The wait was somewhat long to see Murs because there were four openers, but the openers were well-chosen, and the venue slowly filled up to a decent sized crowd. Murs is a fantastic entertainer- jumping around all over the stage, talking to the crowd, explaining his thought process for each song, shaking the dreads, he looked like he was having a great time on stage and that set a great atmosphere for the audience. Fantastic show, one of the best hip hop performances I've ever seen- Murs for president!

from beginning to end i enjoyed this show! the venue was intimate and the perfect setting for this show. i recommend if Murs comes to your town you should all get tix to see him. Murs was an extremely nice and approachable artist. I had the opportunity to meet him a couple of times throughout the show and i even got a few pictures with him. I heart Murs!

This is the first hip hop show in awhile that I can say I really enjoyed. First of all the fact that every single artist was on time made everything flow very well. Now this is about my 7th time seeing MURS and I can honestly say that his shows keep getting better. Sick Jacken did his set that pumped the room with crazy energy. I've seen Psycho Realm before too, but never really wanted to get into the mosh till this time. Id recommend it to everyone because that mosh gets you real hyped and sets the energy for the rest of the show. Oh, and as for nocando I was surprised as well. He put on an awesome set with his DJ playing some dope as beats. Id recommend this show to anyone who doesn't mind getting pushed at least a little.

The show was quite simply awesome. It was my first time seeing a show at the Fillmore and I was very impressed with not just the decor but the acoustics; I have never been to a hip hop show where I could hear the emcee's voice so clearly. Even during his more base heavy songs, Murs' voice sounded crisp and the beats filled the room with an amazing amount of clarity. Also, I was shocked at how fast the show went; I've never been to a hip hop concert with so little down time in between sets. The interludes between acts couldn't have lasted more than 10 minutes and Murs wasted no time to get on stage and rock the house. Great energy, great crowd involvement, great night.
