It didn't really hit me until the opening ceremonies that we were really there at Rosenblatt Stadium, a place I have only seen on t.v. Everything about the time we spent there was great. I went with my mom and my aunt. We have talked about going for years and I have watched the World Series since 1986 and always wanted to go.

As always, the stars were on the field doing what they do best, and the audience for this one was appropriate, with the exception of the half dozen that are there to be seen as opposed to watching the game.

spending an afternoon or evening with your son or daughter watching the boys of summer playing the greatest game on earth is totally unforgettable. TV does not do it justice.

The whole experience will be unforgettable. To be there for the last games to be played at Rosenblatt-I am so glad I was able to attend with my son because we have watched the games on TV for years and have talked about going for the last 15years.

Great event but they did not need to surround the entire event with chain link fence! People are checked where your ticket is taken and you enter the stadium. Fencing off the parking lot does nothing for security.

I've been going to the CWS, off and on, since 1992. This was my first time in the reserved seat section and I loved the view that I had from my right field/1st base line seat. I don't watch too many baseball games throughout the year but I love watching the games played at the CWS. Every baseball fan should experience it at least once in their lifetime. Highly recommended for all ages.
