This was the greatest performance I've ever seen. The music was fabulous. The set and costumes were unforgettable. The storyline was relatable and memorable. The actors performed beautifully. Most of all, Marcie Dodd as "Elphaba" was magical and unbelievably gorgeous - I was green with envy about her voice. Overall - SPECTACULAR!!!

My two teenage grandddaughters and my longtime friend accompanied me to see Wicked On June 19 at the Murat. I had seen Wicked three times in Chicago and my granddaughters had seen it there also. We were excited to know we were once again having the great opportunity of seeing Wicked. The story of what happened in Oz before Dorothy arrived is delightful. The music is clever and the story has a lot of twists and turns. We were a bit apprehensive when we learned that both Elphaba and Galinda were being played that night by understudies. At intermission we smiled in agreement that both young ladies were exemplary in their performances. We were surprised and thrilled to feel the emotion they imparted to their audience. What a great night of theatre in Indy. Thanks to all the cast and crew for a great show!

This is the best show I've seen in a long time and I've seen a lot of shows. This show gives the audience a lot to think about, not just amazing things to watch. It was surprisingly philosophical as well as great entertainment, but it does this in a funny way without getting lost in its own sense of importance. You can get as deep into the themes of censorship and scapegoating as you want. The show moves at a good pace and the acting, songs and dancing are all first rate.

The kids in the audience seemed to enjoy it too and it was the kind of show that made me want to predict what might happen and be pleasantly surprised. The singing is great and as I said before there are some good surprises. I took my mother to see the show for her birthday and she loved it. Even though our seats had a slightly obstructed view from the extreme right of the theater, it didn't seem to matter. The show was so good the whole audience was captivated. I heard no complaints around me. If you are going to spend money on a show, you won't regret spending it on this. That's why I don't mind taking the time to send in this review although I get nothing for it. (Some of my coworkers also saw the show and came away amazed as well.)

My husband and I had seen Wicked in New York and raved about it to our friends. When it came to town we took a contingent to the Chrysler and we were not disappointed. Our friends were also amazed and delighted. The voices were incredible, the acting superb, and the set was amazing. It was as good if not better than the Broadway version. Out of all of the shows that I have attended in Norfolk, I would rate the Phantom and Wicked as the absolute best.

I usually do not attend public events in downtown Norfolk due to the transportation and parking problems often encountered, but the venue (Chrysler Hall) and time of day made it worthwhile. And even more worthwhile is Wicked, a wonderful adaptation of Gregory Maguire's book and continuation of Baum's milieu. I don't willingly attend plays but this one changed my mind about that! The acting and production values are so high that you forget you're watching a stage play! Nicely paced, Wicked is told without dragging out any particular point or boring its audience. It's plays such as Wicked that demonstrate the arts are indeed flourishing in this country. Highly recommended!

Now my favorite musical of all times. I've been to NY city multiple times and have seen numerous shows. This was fantastic from scene set up to character makeup. The actors were of the best caliber. I loved this show! I only wish I could have gone every night!!!!!!!

Wicked is beyond entertaining. It takes you through heartache, anger, excitement, and happiness. There is NEVER a dull moment in this dramatic musical. You really fill like you are in the land of Oz with all the amazing set, special effects, and wonderful costumes. If you love Broadway or like me, have never experienced one, Wicked is the show to go to!!

This is a must see!, even if you are not a fan of the Wizard of Oz, this is truely outstanding...the relationships, the affair, the schooling a complex but easily understandable twisting of lives that come together in a most unique way.

I got more than I was expecting. I had never been to a show at the Orpheum. I had heard so much good stuff about the Wicked show but I got way more than I was expecting. A very well produced show and superb cast. Great story! I haven't been into musicals in the past but I highly recommend this show to anyone who is up to new things.

Took my BFF of 40+ years who is a theatre rat and she gave it a two thumbs up! This was my second trip to Wicked...in this same theatre. Don't miss the outstanding performances and amazing costumes. I swear I enjoyed the second time seeing this more than the first!

We had a wonderful time at Wicked! The set was ingenious and the costumes were gorgeous. The actors looked like they were having such fun -- and so did the audience. The play has a very serious message but delivers it in an upbeat and interesting way . I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys musicals, and maybe even a lot of folks who don't would have a great time. Well worth the price of the ticket!

A good musical in SF. There are many better musical shows in NY or LV. The bad thing is the theater was not designed for thsi show and some seats does not have good stereo.

Wicked was really amazing! I highly recommend it! The girl playing the wicked witch played it on Broadway, and she has an unbelievable voice (one of the best I have ever heard)! I have seen a lot of musicals, but this one is probably up at the top of my list now. It was my first time seeing it, and I LOVED it! There were parts that gave me chills!

I loved the story of Wicked and the costumes were wonderful!! The animal costumes were unforgettable and the rest of the cast too! Glinda and the Wicked Witch performances were over the top. Also loved the Goat! Very enjoyable for all.
