The Kings get a lot of criticism for their lack of "entertainment" during their shows, I disagree. What they may lack in showmanship they make up ten fold with their live sound. I'd hate for them to "sell out" and try to be something they're not, a showy band. The Kings strongest selling point and the best reason to attend one of their shows, they sound exactly like they do on their albums. A lot of bands compensate for lack of talent/ability with production tweeks and enhancements and they disappoint at their live shows in sound but try to make up for it with showmanship. I love the Kings for the fact I won't be disappointed when I go to a show and I hear something totally different than what I hear on an album. I'll go to any Kings concert in the area I can. My only dislike of this show, I was able to seem them at Municipal in Nashville last Nov. and they played longer and played my favorite song Arizona.
