I was not able to get to Vegas until late Friday and I only attended the awards show and it was kind of expensive. However, it was well worth it; it was like 4 shows in one a gospel, a r&b, a comedy and an awards show all in one event. My hubby and I loved it and laughed so hard we could not breath. I will be attending the 2013 event this year with my hubby, my sister and my two sons.

my daughter and i attended the hoodie awards as part of her 21st birthday celebration. we had a blast!! steve and the other comics were incredibly funny--it was like getting two shows in one! the performers were awesome and we really enjoyed ourselves. i'm looking forward to attending next year's award celebration!

The after party started before the Hoodie's was over. Its very hard to walk out on Stevie Wonder to go to an afterparty. But, it appeared that the after party didn't really start until after the Hoodie's. There must of been some communication going on. because we were worried we were going to miss some of the after party. But when we arrived after Stevie sung his last song it look like the after party hadn't started. It would of been great to see Steve Harvey at the after party briefly, but I know he was very busy that weekend. The Hoodies was great, but I am thinking about skipping the after party next time. the amount we paid for the tickets, weren't really worth the entertainment.

The Hoodie Awards was quite an experience - honoring people from their respective neighborhoods that really make a difference and for the most part are not recognized or would go UNSUNG sort of speak, if it were not for Steve Harvey's creation! Everyone gets dressed, which is another really nice thing to see!! Most people today don't even know how to dress, and so it makes for a very special event!

This was my first time attending the Hoodie and I thoroughly enjoyed myself!!!!!!!Unfortunately, I did not arrive until Friday and was very upset that I did not purchase tickets for Thursday nite show (but finances would not allow me to do it all)! I must admit I was not totally satisfied with the All White party or the set set up- but seeing soooooo many folks in white was really nice. The HOODIE AWARD show alone was worth the trip. It was very well put together and extremely rewarding for the community! I couldn't decide between White Party or Beach Party but next year I will give the beach party a shot- BECAUSE I WILL BE BACK!!!!!!
Kudo's to the Vegas Staff, Steve, Marjorie and the Morning Show Crew for a job well done!!!!!!

I have attended the Hoodies for the past 7 years. The only thing I did not like, was the fact that.. They have to change the name to "The Neighborhood Awards" Come on REALLY. Why we can't keep it in the HOOD MAN lol
Charlie Wilson, God Bless his aching back. That is a true entertainer. He was in a lot of pain, But he gave the greatest performance.

This is a very worthy event. Recognizing communities, challenging people to invest and give back to communities and at the same time restoring pride in our communities. That's part of the reason why I've been 4 of the past 5 yrs. Plus it's one big party. Bring walking shoes & plenty of 5 hour energy. You're gonna need it.

OMG that was the best award event that I have ever been too, I think it's a beautiful event that Steve has put together. The stars as well as the regular people were beautiful. New Edition put on a fantastic opening act, that Bobby Brown what can I say, it was just wonderful to see the old New Edition, they did the dam thing, Stephanie was wonderful and of course Stevie what can you say but WOW, I will be there next year, oh and of course Washington DC took the most awards.

Talk about a class act from beginning to end, Steve Harvey leaves no stone unturned. The legendary Stevie Wonder's performance was dynamic! He is truly a musical genius. I swear this event had the best looking crowd I had ever seen. Everyone was dressed in their finest attire. It was indeed a great time to be had by all! I am looking forward to next year's Neighborhood Awards Show!
