A great Show. Having been a fan since he released "Children of the Future", I always go to his shows hoping he would harken back to what I think is really the best material he recored which were his first 5 releases, yet he never does. That said, I found it quite refreshing that he mixed in some be-bop, blues, trasitional RocknRoll, while still giving the fans a reliable mixture of his most remembered hits. His guitar playing was first rate, and his interaction with the audience was quite affable. Those that missed it, missed seeing why they call him "Steve GUITAR Miller" with the very deep voice....

First half was a little slow but they really picked it up the second half and it turned out to be a good show. He can really play the guitar and he had plenty of them to play.

I didn't know this band; even though I only heard one of his songs before I really like lots of them and I am glad that I went. I give the whole experience a 8.5 out of 10

He was absolutly awesome! He did some amazing guitar solos and changed instruments 14 times. A very gifted and emotional session, he shared a lot of his personal self with the untimely death of his longt time bandmember Buffalo and his godfather Les Paul, with whom he dedicated a number of songs to. He also had some terrific band members who played, as well as danced the whole two hour show. We would recommend seeing Steve Miller Band when he comes next tour to your area.

Despite a tragic year of lost musical friends and members the Steve Miller Band adhered to the old entertainment adage “the show must go on” and the crowd at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater Florida greatly appreciated them for it. The crowd make up was a cross section of Florida residents with many a cotton top present as well as representatives from all other age groups from High School to the baby boomers.
Steve Miller entertained all age groups with his rock and blues-rock music. Miller’s guitar skills thrilled the audience. A fine complement to Miller was Sonny Charles who many in the crowd remembered from his days as lead singer in the Checkmates. Sonny’s blues and dancing were well received.

The diverse crowd came to its feet many times during the evening including every well know Miller Band song as well as some of the blues songs.

If you are just in to the classic Steve Miller Band songs you would have enjoyed the concert however you would even have had a great time if you just enjoyed good Blues and Rock music.

I had a wonderful time at the concert and greatly enjoyed the experience.

Woohoooooooooooooooooooo!!!

I looked forward to seeing this concert because:
a. I really liked the band when I was 15--not telling how long ago that was :)
b. My 17 year old son wanted to go with me-what a great way to spend time with your children

Well.............forget it and put on your dancing shoes!!!!-the band was great, the show rocked, Steve Miller showed what a great guitarist, singer (if anything, his pipes are better live than recorded) and most importantly, what a great, really decent guy he is.

Steve Miller played mostly other muscians music. My buddy told me how great they were a few years ago at the same venue and how they played all of their classic tunes. The Hardrock holds ~3000 and there were not more than ~1000 in attendance.

I'm sorry but I expect 'old' bands to play their 'old' known rockin tunes, especially when two tickets are close to $200. The sales pitch for his teach kids to play an instrument charity and his 14 year old protege was too much.

To his credit, Steve Miller did play a different guitar for each song and the volume was very acceptable. I would not attend another of his concerts.

This was a solid, non-flashy concert.
Good musicianship, great vocal blend.
Norton Buffalo was missed.
Audience needs to pay attention when songs other than "hits" are played.

The show was okay. People were sitting most of the time, and the crowd was more mellow than we were expecting. The voices and acoustic were great, I was just expecting more enthusiasm and energy from them and the crowd.

My wife and I enjoyed the show. I've seen Steve Miller before, but never seen George. He was great. I thought the acoustics in the Arena were very good. All in all, very good show.

A good show played a bunch of his classics but also a bunch of obscure songs.
Bluesy at times. Could have definitely done without the dancing guy. Audience didin't really start rocking until the end.

It started out a bit strainge. They played alot of music from other artists. While they played extremely well, alot of people were not pleased with their song selection. Thhi resulted in many walking out of the concert. As the show went on it did improve emensley! Overall I had a good time. It would've been better had they performed more of their own music that we all expected and wanted to hear!
