the show was great. my friend and i were right up front.. we were getting ancy for coheed to play so i went to get some merch of theirs [coheed's] of course i was in line as soon as they came on. i got my stuff, and we lost our spots up front.. a pit broke out. but it was all well worth it. coheed is amazingggg live. it was my first concert ever, and im so happy to say coheed was my first. id definitely reccomend anybody go see them at the HOB. the venue really isn't as bad as these people are making it sound. it's great. so go! :)

I went to the show to see Coheed and Cambria, as they have been my favorite band for years. I also enjoy Brand New. This concert was one of the best experiences of my life.
The only bad thing about this show was Jaguar Love was TERRIBLE, I like screamo and dance rock, but 30 minutes of incoherent vocals and screeching wear you down.
Brand New kicked all kinds of ass in their set, playing some old stuff and some new. Only complaint I have about them is they didnt play the quiet things that no one ever knows. They did on the other hand play some new stuff, and just ended with a very emotional You dont know, with the bassist smashing his instrument, and Jesse the singer staying on stage chanting for about three extra minutes, dripping with emotion.
Now to the bread and butter COHEED! They rarely play anywhere near Washington, but having them come to my hometown was amazing. As usual Claudio did a comic signing before the show, thinking I was one of the only Coheed fans around, I assumed there would be only a handful of people, I was totally wrong. At LEAST 300 people were there, which only means good things for Coheed coming back soon. The show itself was one of the most energized performances I have seen from Coheed, since they were on one of their last stops for the year, they held nothing back at ALL! Since there is so much Coheed music, they played somewhat of a highlight reel, a little of everything, heavy on NWFT, The encore of the Crowing and Final Cut almost had me passing out. Greatest show I have ever been to.
