Amazing concert, funnier than ever, dealt with heckler's amazingly, there were too many drunk hecklers though that Lumiere should have done something about. Lynch even threatened to leave the stage because they were too annoying. But as for the show, amazing.

Stephen and his crew were, of course, amazing. The newer songs are a bit of a departure from some of his earlier work, but very funny just the same. His ability to make the audience laugh with his physical humor as well as his songs make him an all around excellent act to see.
The only criticism I have is the audience. Stephen tends to play off of them during shows and they weren't giving him much to work with - just some heckling that we all could've done without.

Went with my wife to see this show. Despite the annoying people sitting next to us who talked the whole time it was awesome. Stephen Lynch is hilarious and extremely talented!

Stephen Lynch made a comment that unlike Bon Jovi, he knows where his bread is buttered and that rest assure, the audience will hear his older music. Well the majority of the songs were off his new album, while favorite songs such as Superhero, Special Ed, and If I Were Gay to name a few, were completely missing.
While I understand that you must play your new music to sell albums, true fans will buy your new album whether you force the music down their throats or not. This show was definitely a disappointment for me.

I could listen to that guy for hours. I felt he was little rushed and did "an accommodating" encore, but beyond that, he was hysterical.

Had my wife and I laughing out of our seats. Havent laughed that hard in a long time! See him in person if you have a chance! I would go again! Great venue. (Casino part is grossly smoky (smoking allowed) but the show room had no smoke at all)

Although his set list included many of his latest songs, Stephen Lynch did manage to work some of his earlier songs into the performance, including a couple of my favorites in 'Craig' and 'Lullaby.' His banter with the audience and the contributing singers/musicians on-stage (including the drop-dead gorgeous Courtney Jaye) was hilarious and just as much a welcome part of the act as the songs they played. All in all, it was a great performance and made for a fantastic night out!

Stephen Lynch, along with his whole team, are hilarious beyond words. They also made it possible for my boyfriend (now fiancé) to propose on stage. Funny AND nice? He's a true artist that hasn't lost touch with his fan base! Still in shock and awe over the best comic concert I've ever seen!

What a waste of money ! I saw him on Comedy Central a few times - hilarious!! Saw some of his You Tube clips - funny as hell. But at the concert in Detroit, he was too egotistical, self absorbed, and BORING!!!! He spent the vast majority of his time talking about how stoned he was, talked about drinking, himself, his act and jabbering aimlessly just to amuse himself, but left me and others in the audience unamused and bored. In 30 minutes, he did one song. I left. Disgusted. Enjoyed my ride back home more than this "show". Bah, Stephen. Never again.

Stephen Lynch was as good as I was hoping. It was over 2 hours of great entertainment.

Had seen Stephen Lynch last time he was in Detroit and decided to see him again. Normally when acts say they're going to do "new stuff", it's bathroom time. Not for Lynch, the fresh stuff matched and at times, exceeded the oldies that annoying people in the crowd kept requesting. He has the voice and musical chops of a rock star with the comedic juice of the best comedians I have seen. If you love comedy and are not hung up on what a "stand up act" should be like, you owe it to yourself to see Lynch!

Stephen Lynch is one funny dude! He played a lot from the new album, Lion, which were great. He did a few 'old' songs too and those are what I know the best. The Fillmore is a beautiful theater. Glad I got the chance to see him live!

Tony nominated (The Wedding Singer) Stephen Lynch has been away from stand up for quite sometime while being on Broadway yet hasn't missed a beat. The Michigan bred comic is still funny as hell! He did a mix of old and new material that kept the sometimes loud audience on its toes. The added female voice to his team is a great fit. If he comes to your town run, don't walk to see him. You will not be disappointed.
