Much of entertainment is about escapism, to where one is transported to another time and place. Your show has the elements to where I could forget about where I was, and just flow with what was happening.

Your show brought back a lot of wonderful memories listening to the Beatles during the sixties, as I can recall their music being played in the house since I was 3. I can also recall countless hours staring at the "Meet the Beatles!" and "Revolver" album covers while the records played on the old tube Curtis Mathis stereo console. Back then, our house was a constant barrage of The Beatles, some Beach Boys, and Alvin and the Chipmunks.

In fact, I remember going to the drive-in movie theater with my parents, cousin JoAnn, and a friend of hers to go see "Help". What I remember most was JoAnn and her friend sitting on the hood of my parent's car, with the two of them bouncing up and down and screaming at the movie screen the whole time, which occurred near my fourth birthday in 1965.

I imagine your show provides so many wonderful memories like these for others as well.

As a guitar player, I also admire how you guys nail the guitar sounds. It made me want to get a Gretsch with some flatwound strings and an AC-30. In fact, I wouldn't mind a "Rocky" Strat one bit.

We went the week of 7/24/11 to the show in Myrtle Beach. It was worth the $35 a ticket. I am in my late 20s and have only heard popular songs that the Beatles have sung. I have enjoyed hearing their songs, but am not a hardcore fan. I really enjoyed the show as they played all the popular songs that I know and made it entertaining and fun. I told my husband after the show that we had to come back for my birthday. He really enjoyed it as well as he has loved the beatles for many years and can play by ear. He would of known if they had messed up during the songs.

I saw the new Beatlemania Now cast at Myrtle Beach and it made a big difference. The Paul and George were much better than the one I saw two years ago. This Paul looked like Paul AND he played left-handed. He also sang really well, not like the guy who didn't know the words. The new George was great! His playing was flawless and his voice sounded like him too. His version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps was the best I ever heard. The John was good and he really looked and sounded like him but at times he dragged out notes during the songs differently than John did and it was a bit distracting. But he was really good at interacting with the audience. The Ringo was perfect! I never saw any other tribute band capture Ringo like this guy did. He should play Ringo in a movie.

It's true that in the past they had a cast that wasn't as good but when they added this new Paul and George it made a HUGE difference. The set looked good on the big stage but the quality of the video on the screen behind them was still a little weak. The should do whatever they can to try and make the picture clearer.

The ticket was $32.50 a little high by maybe ten dollars because the show was only about 90 minutes, but the theater was really nice so that was probably the reason. They shortened some of the songs, which I thought was unnecesarry. They should stop doing that and play the full songs. These are great songs and the fans want to hear the full versions. And what's Imagine doing in this show, anyway? That's a solo song. If you're going to do that, you might as well play You're Sixteen. I saw some bad reviews on here and I agreed with the ones from about two or three years ago, but the cast makes all the difference in the world and they fixed that. Now they just have to play the full songs and fix up the video a bit. With the improvements, the show deserves another chance. Go see it; if you're a Beatles fan you will definitely have a good time.

My fiance is a HUGE Beatle fan, and had never seen Beatlemania. I was so excited when this show appeared on the season schedule for the Shubert in New Haven, CT, and I immediately purchased tickets. I told my fiance what I remembered of the show, and I was sure, all these years later, it would be so much better. WRONG!! This was one of the poorest productions I have ever seen! The cast slipped in and out of their specific characters, and when they attempted to be who they were portraying, they failed miserably. The gentlemen playing Ringo and George sang very well, however the gentleman playing Paul had no range, and sounded as far from the real thing as he could get. His high notes were painful, and his harmonies even more painful to hear. The gentleman playing John was probably the closest to his character looks wise, but he fluctuated in and out of having an accent, and several of the songs he sang, he could not reach the high notes...again, painful. The video pieces were poorly copied, blurry, and some made no sense. They also messed up several times, stopping then replaying video segments. AWFUL!! If you love the real Beatles, and/or have seen the original Beatlemania..... enjoy your wonderful memories and DO NOT SEE THIS SHOW!! There are much better, more authentic Beatles Tribute Bands out there.... don't waste your time and money on these pitiful posers.

I took my wife and my 9 year old daughter to the show (she is all Beatles all the time). We found it to be a very good and enjoyable show. I read other reviews about the screen behind the musicians being a distractor, but I liked the screen and the pictures they played. Remember this is also a show through the TIME AND EVENTS OF THE BEATLE ERA. There was alot of uniform changes which I also liked beacause again it showed how the Beatles changed through the years. The musicians were very good, although not perfect, but hey they are trying to copy the greastest and most complicated music in pop/rock music. Thehy all were good, but the person that played Ringo was very very good-- KUDOS to him.

The musicianship and talent of the performers was very good and professional. Many times you almost believed the Fab Four was actually playing their songs and the costume changes (with the appropriate) song sequences matched their era. Most lacking and somewhat amateurish was the background multimedia presentation that served as a backdrop. Shown on only one screen was a primitive and lackluster slideshow and video montage of news clips and old timey television commercials (cigarettes, medical, fashions, etc.). I wish a "real" multimedia professional was on hand to create a more enlightening and "slicker" montage of commercials, news reels, and graphics. And use more than one screen would have helped (two side screens to accompany the main screen?). There are many professional Graphics Designers who could have made the show really memorable! What was presented looked cheap and home made.

Sadly, the show held in Chrysler Hall, only had 200+ attendees in the audience (The hall seats over several thousand!). The audience was encouraged to move from their assigned seats and closer to the stage in order to max out the small club feeling. A plus was the intimacy and enthusiam(sp) of the crowd which was notably older adults (with their teenage kids) and the superb sound acoustics of Chrysler Hall.

A decent show that could have been much, much better with some additional professionalism in their visuals and forethought of stage decor.

It was interesting when I arrived at the concert hall because everyone said that I was not old enough to "know" The Beatles, but BeatleMania Now seemed to make up for that gap in time where I did not exist. The music was a bit loud, considering the concert hall was not filled and many were up in the front 20 rows. The presentation that they did have, while they were changing their costumes was both entertaining and informative. I felt as if I was at home in the 70s watching the news (commercials and all). The attempt to involve the audience was a bit corny.

Beatlemania Now was a lot of fun. I went with my father in law, who is a huge Beatles fan, and he had a blast. I enjoyed it too. The costume changes were great. The sound was fantastic. Despite being in the back, "Ringo" steals the show. He has nailed the look and mannerisms just right and always looks like he's having a ball. The crowd size was disappointing but we can't blame that on the band.

The show was OK. The band was ok, but definately not worth more than $25 a ticket. The venue was empty and they moved everyone up to the front seats so the view was great. The music was good, but they only played for an hour 45 minutes with an intermission. Missed alot of the favorite songs, but . How could they not play "Hard Day's Night"? The stage props were not what you would expect. They had a video going throughout the performance that was on the right side of the stage behind the band. TOO loud! Sort of looked like a home movie. They definately need to invest some money in their "show". Overall, it was just ok. I wouldn't go again and I wouldn't recommend it.

Too many costume changes and and over-played and fuzzy film backdrop took away from the performance. The voices were good, sounding lots like the Beatles, but there was too much canned music. This show did not come close to being as good as the Beatles 64 I saw awhile back at the Sandler Center. That one rocked.

I was a huge Beatles fan growing up and was in my teen years when they were popular. This performance was done so well, I actually had the feeling I was seeing them live--all the facial expressions, mannerisms, etc were there. So for 2 hours I enjoyed being
16 again!! I would recommend to anyone but especially Beatles fans.

We had a great evening. The concert was by way of a turning 55 birthday treat for me and my hubby from several of our friends. The music was wonderful and it, along with the multi media, with current events and TV ads took us all the way back to our youth! We were singing along almost from the start of the Show. The songs selected were great. We really love The Beatles and we were very, very impressed with Beatlemania Now's attention to detail in their musical renderings, the guitars used, the drum kit, the costumes, the resemblance of cast members to their characters and the creme de la creme.....a left handed Paul ! In a lot of the other Beatle acts we've seen there has not been the same attention to detail which, as purists, was disappointing. It was so much fun!.

We were quite disappointed with the show on the whole. We have been attending the Beatlemania show for several years at several venues and found this one lacking in virtually all respects. The harmonies were OFF. The playing (except for the George character) was no better than a garage band. The drummer was good. The selection of songs was poor. We have seen other acts such as Get Back and Rain as well as Beatlemania. I don't think we will be spending our entertainment dollars on this show again.

I found the whole productions to be Cheesy. The cast members were just O.k. and had to force the audience to get into it and sing along. Last year I seen Rain, which was an incredible production. The cast members were so talented and they had the crowd singing and dancing through out the entire show. I guess I expected more from this show, but I must say I was truly disappointed.

The ads on 105.7 fm talked about set changes and so authentic which was not the case. It was a slow show, the cast didn't seem into it, and what set changes were they talking about? Ringo was okay, John was the best, George got better for me and can't make up my mind about Paul. Did he really not know the words to some of the songs...really?????

For a show who claims to be the "Beatles" I expected so much more, considering it wasn't just a $20 ticket to a show. It turned out to be kind of a joke and we made our own fun.

Rain was much much more authentic and seemed to appreciate what they were representing. I thought it was ridiculous to cut the songs short. Was this a new cast?

Another point about the Colonial Theater, why did it take them so long to reseat the balcony because of the screen obstruction? We watched half of the show up there and only when I went out and asked where everybody was going did they tell us we could sit in mezzanine.....
