I would recommend everyone take a buddy for an inexpensive date to the amazing Washington Huskies Women's Basketball game! Why? First, the Husky pep band is explosive! They keep the excitement going and it is as much fun watching them dance and play as watching the game. Secondly, there are super fun promotions. The night we went Whole Foods donated Healthy Snacks that were thrown into the stands and we got a large bag of cheese popcorn. The people next to us ended up with a box of granola bars. Thirdly, the halftime is fun time! Few people left their seats and got to see a fantastic performance from a karate studio set to music. I was impressed by the respect and ability that the young people showed as they rolled, kicked, and bowed. Finally, woman's college basketball is exciting! People were real friendly and it was so encouraging seeing fans cheering and not cursing. I was amazed how everyone got on their feet for three point shot and even cheered the defense. There was even applause for fine plays by the Beavers. The talent of these young ladies need more community support!

I went to the game primarily to see the Ogwumike sisters and the rest of the Cardinal play.
I enjoyed the game very much although it was not very competitive. I was disappointed in Regina Rogers play. She was too physical. To the point of being flagrant, in my opinion. Best wishes to the Cardinal team and staff. I hope you go to the championship again this year! Kind Regards.

The girls played with intensity, the fans cheered, and the Huskies won big! Big question of the week-WHERE WAS THE STUDENT SUPPORT???????? I have been to PeeWee games with more of an audience. I know the men's game is strongly supported but I think I only saw ONE student in the student section. Very sad, they missed a great game! I wish I could get off work to see more games, keep up the hard work Husky women!

My daughter and I had such a great time at the Huskies vs Portland State game. Both teams showed tremendous skill, the band and atmosphere made it a super fun day!
