We had a lot of fun. The different rooms varied in the size of the room and the size of the crowd. The music was the same in all of the rooms. I recommend this NYE party to anyone who likes dance clubs because there was a dance floor in every room and each one was full of people dancing. I thought the price of $55 was reasonable compared to other NYE parties around KC. There were plenty of restrooms in various locations and never a line- even for the ladies.

The only complaints I have are 1. there was an additional fee for the coat check. And 2. the cups at the bar were WAY TOO SMALL. It could really help eliminate long lines at the bar if the cups took longer than 5 minutes to drink. As soon as we were out of line it was nearly time to get in the back of the line and go through again.

To cold in the rooms on 1st floor due to the doors opening and closing constantly-TOO CROWDED-TOO LONG WAITS AT BARS-TOO LOUD-should have at least one lounge with quieter music so to carry on a conversation without screaming! Food was spilled all over floor and steps-perhaps NO FOOD OUT OF THE AREA WHERE BEING SERVED? Just basically a "drunk" fest with no organization.

The event is perfect for those looking to party it up with hundreds of people they don't know. So, if you're looking for a more personal experience, consider throwing your own party. I'm not sure I got my money's worth in alcohol. They charge too much ($5) for coat check, which should be free considering the ticket price. Also, taxis are hard to get ahold of after the party, so it's best to arrange in advance for transportation.

We went with a group of about 20 and all enjoyed ourselves. Drinks were easy to get, the food, and music were great and it wasn't too crowded. We will definitely be back next year!

Never been to the NYE Bash at the Uptown but I would definitely do it again. 6 dj's so you are bound to find some music you like. Line at the bars weren't to bad except for the main one downstairs. All in all for the money you're paying this is a pretty decent event.

Not enough bar tenders, waiting 30 minutes to get a drink is ridiculous. Then having the bar tenders working to serve their friend 1st when other people have been waiting. Other than that it was okay.

This event in my opinion did not live up to the hype the event description described. I felt that this event needed a better dj and a actual party venue. This venue needed decorations and a better set up for a New Yrs celebration to give it a New Yrs party atmosphere.

I was under the impression that this venue was for 21 and up. Well, what about the UP crowd. We went VIP to ensure a more mature crowd. The music was horrible, we were only able to dance to two songs the entire night while there were quite a few 30+ in the room. Just plain reap is unacceptable for a mixed venue. I felt as though I was nned out of my $120.00. The heavy horsd'oeuvrs were not very heavy. We expected at least two kinds of meat (ie: chicken and meatballs) and a heavy salad (ie: potato or macaroni). Only fried chick and vegetable tray with chips and salsa, NOT heavy at all. I was very disappointed and will never recommend or attend this event again. Even mature staffers were in agreeance

I was expecting so much more out of this event. I drove up from
Charlotte because i thought it was going to be an epic event. I will honestly say I was disappointed. The only good part was being with my cousins, but we could have seen each other at someone's house and saved $25. There wasn't even enough confetti released when the ball dropped. I'll think twice the next time an "extravaganza" is thrown.

I was extremely disappointed with the RBC Center event! Although I understand
the reasoning behind it, the mass amount of security was way over the top!
There was one food vendor on the general admission floor. Two over-priced bars!
(three dollars for a cup of ice water and nine dollars for a mixed drink)
The champagne was twelve!
The entertainment was lame! Rap rap and more rap with a little hop hop
thrown in. The comedian wasnt funny at all!
There should have. Been a better discription on the web about the
type of entertainment! As a 40+ year old Caucasian couple my husband and
I were out of place. We left before midnight.

the band was fine, would have preferred some more older tuns tho. on the whole the event was definitely not worth the 65 or 70 paid after taxes and fees for the tickets. The ballroom was supposed to open at 9 then it was 930 and then it was 1030. That only left a short time to enjoy the night before midnight. My boyfriend and I are 45 and we were not interested in partying all night so it felt kinda like a cheesy ripoff. We were not concerned about entry into the other 2 clubs hover we did go check them out while waiting for our ballroom to open up. We weren't too impressed with the music as it was mostly young kids.
The upside was we gambled and won 450 and in the end we came out ahead on the whole trip.
