My friend and I drove in from Columbus, Ohio to see the show. The venue was the coolest one I've ever been to, a perfect place to see The Wailers. I've seen The Wailers many times and am never disappointed. I hope they come back to Bluebird.

The opening band was very good. They had a lot of followers. The Wailers were awesome. Performance was very good. I think there could have been more reggae music played between sets. There was a time during the night where it was sort of dead and lack of entertainment while the bands changed out.

This was my first time seeing the Wailers and they were phenomenal. The House of Blues has great ambiance and drink specials, and everyone in the house was rocking to the sweet sounds of reggae. Backstage passes made it an even more unforgettable night. This is the best concert I've been to ever.

I was in MB for spring break and saw that The Wailers were playing at the HOB during our stay, so we grabbed up a couple tickets. The tickets were advertised as 9 pm doors open, show at 945. When we found out that they had an opener, we figured we didn't need to rush to the show...
We went into the HOB restaurant, which was really busy at 830. Got a spot at the bar (which was crazy in the weeds) and hung out for a few drinks and an appetizer. We went into the show around 10ish.
The opening band wrapped up and we waited...and waited... They didn't start until after 11 and then were done at 1145. I'm sure there was a couple songs worth of an encore, but we were disappointed by the quick set after the long wait.

I will probably be the only contrarian here but I was very disappointed in the show, It began very late (after 11pm) and,l to my mind, was, at best, average. I have seen the Wailers quite a few times over the last 30 years (with and without Bob) and this was not even close to any of those performances in terms of musicianship and energy. The band was competent enough with Familyman Barrett being the linch-pin in it but, to my ears, the overall drums, guitar and keyboards didn't put out a groove anywhere close to the previous Wailer iterations I heard.

I had seen The Wailers twice previously but that had been a decade ago or longer. I was impressed with the energy and sound that this new ensemble compared to the band ten years ago. You couldn't help but lose yourself in the music, close your eyes, and not even realize that you weren't actually listening to Bob. It was a night filled with dancing and celebration of living with people of all walks of life. If you enjoy the music of Bob Marley then this "new" Wailers is a must see for you!
P.S. The Casino doesn't allow for a rasta friendly environment. Poor choice of venue to host a band with a following such as The Wailers has.

The Wailers, featuring original bass man Ashton 'Family Man' Barrett, put on a great and exciting show at the Turning Stone.
I have not always been fond of this venue, thanks to occasional problems with sound quality that undermined performances, but everything was up to snuff, and then some, this time around.
The band got the audience on its feet, playing my personal and crowd favorites with great energy and authority.
If they ever come back, catch them!

I received these tickets as a Christmas gift and had a great time. The venue was very cozy and the crowd was energized. People of all ages and races were singing and dancing all night. The Wailers performance I'm sure, had Bob Marley smiling big time.
