I have been to a few concerts,but I would have to say this was the best. She sounded wonderful, and was very personable. She interacted with the audience. She was given things from the audience and was very gracious about it. She even used them as props for her show. Eric Hutchinson also put on a very good show!

as usual kelly is very talkative and that gives a personalized feelings to her shows. i cant think of a song she didnt sing, then doing some accoustic and blues music also just expands her talents. her voice is amazing and she always appear down to earth and just real. kelly clarkson is a great concert to see for all ages.

Kelly Clarkson was wonderful. She sang all of her greatest hits and even covered some songs by Alanis Morrisette and Kings of Leon. She was the best but the venue is getting old. Next time, she should go somewhere more modern like Dodge Theater.

Not many give this woman enough credit after the whole fiasco with the record company over "My December". I say that this woman never disappoints her fans that love her and are always there to support her. She puts on an amazing show. She doesn't do dance numbers because that's not Kelly. She's all about the music. She's also very charismatic. The funniest part of the night was when she noticed a sign a soldier was holding up. It took her awhile to understand what he was exactly asking for, but once she figured out that the soldier was asking Kelly to write down a line of lyrics from one of her songs, we all had a good laugh over it, as did Kelly. She did her hits that many know, "Since U Been Gone" and "Behind These Hazel Eyes", and some of her new songs off "All I Ever Wanted", "Impossible" and "I Want You". If you have the chance to see her live, you definitely should. It will be a concert you won't forget.

Kelly Clarkson is a stud! She is a rocker, removed far from "A Moment Like this" days. She has found her groove, and she's not afraid to be herself. She's got the amazing talent and pipes to back it up... Sometimes rare to find in the music industry these days.
Her setlist was great... It included covers by Alanis & Kings of Leon. Not many artists can pull that off.........I love KC!!!!!!

Kelly Clarkson started the show out great w/ some of her songs. Toward the middle, she started to sing some of the classic songs by other artists. Bad choice to do other artists' songs. Fans were there to hear her music. Ended the show w/ a bang... My opinion, promote your own songs Kelly.

Her voice is that of a true rock star. Kelly Clarkson owns the stage and doesn't need fancy theatrics to entertain the crowd. She talked to the crowd and doesn't even know that she is funny and hilarious! Her covers of Alanis Morrisette/Kings of Leon, Patsy Cline, and The White Stripes were STELLAR. She makes them almost better than the original! You must see Kelly Clarkson at least once in your life. You will not regret it!

I have been to about 5 of Kellys concerts and everytime I go she is so good. She really knows how to put on a show. She also knows how to connect with the audience. Every time she talks to the audience you feel like you know her and you just want to hang out with her cuz she is so down to earth. She is my favorite from winners of American Idol. She has such a bluesy voice and I hope one day she will do an album like that. When she started to sing "Going walking after midnight" that was probably the best I have ever heard that song sang. I can't wait till Kelly comes back to Arizona for another concert!!!

I saw Kelly at the AZ State Fair, which means that ticket prices were good and seating was reasonable. You can see any act at the Fair for free if you want to sit in the upper deck, but if you purchase tickets, you can get seats on the floor (yes, actual seats on the floor) or in the lower sections close to the stage. Unfortunately, our tickets were in the 5th row on the side, which were stadium seats added on the floor itself. Because the venue added the seats, they were small, close together, & had little to no legroom (people could barely walk by, & you couldn't stand up to let them by because the seats didn't fold).

Venue aside, I was hoping the show would at least be decent. Often, acts at the Fair don't travel with their full stage show, though they do often have a decent stage setup. It's a small stage, though, so that's not a surprise. Still, I've seen Foo Fighters & Rihanna at the Fair, both of whom were quite good (I'll never complain about Foo Fighters, who could sing in a dirt lot with nothing but stage amps & they'd give an awesome performance). I know Kelly can sing, so I was expecting a good vocal performance. However, she really didn't bring much to the show. The stage was bare bones, & the light show was really nothing to speak of.

As for the performance, it was really nonexistent! Kelly sang well, for the most part. She strained at some of the vocals that were more demanding, and she compromised on some of the vocals that were higher when recorded. Besides that, she didn't sing the same set list she'd sang at other shows, which my wife had looked up beforehand so that we could compare them on our iphones.

In the place of the songs she didn't sing (Cry, Whyyawannabringmedown, Trouble With Love, etc), she sang some "personal favorites," covers of bands & songs she likes: White Stripes (7 Nation Army), Alanis Morrisette/Kings of Leon (mashup), Patsy Cline (Walking After Midnight, which she thankfully sang in a blues style rather than twangy country, which I hate). Not that I'm against a band showing off their influences (Pink sang a cover of Led Zeppelin's Babe I'm Gonna Leave U & Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody while Foo Fighters has done Prince's Darling Nikki), but Kelly did THREE in one concert! That's a little much for one performance.

Speaking of performance, there really wasn't one. She dressed very plainly, wore little makeup, & wore her hair as a stringy, greasy mess. It's almost like she didn't care about herself whatsoever. She also "danced" around the stage doing a pony bounce, like she was on one of those broomstick horses. It was constant & rather ridiculous, almost self-conscious, which maybe is part of the problem. Sure, she's let herself go a little bit with the weight, but who cares if she can put on a good show? Unfortunately, she just didn't put on a "show" at all. She sang like she was doing glorified karaoke, almost like she was on Idol again.

I really wanted to like Kelly more. I've heard so many times how great she is live, and I saw her performances on Idol, which were perfection. I still say that she's the ONLY American Idol, considering she's the first and one of the only successful winners in Idol history. I just couldn't respect her performance (or lack of performance) at all. Like I said, she sang well, but there wasn't anything special about it. It wasn't like seeing LIVE music. It was like seeing someone sing along to some basic music (only the trumpet player really kicked major butt with his solo on Walking After Midnight, which was pure southern blues, toilet-plunger mute & all).

My recommendation: if you can get in for the $20 I paid, then it's worth it. If you're paying much more, then I'd really say you're wasting your money. She's just not worth it this time around. It's unforgettable in that it was really just a bad show overall. I guess I can only say that I still respect her vocals. Next time, Kelly, put something into the show. Don't just rely on your vocals. Pink could do that it she wanted to, but her show was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.

When we got there we didn't realize that there were two other bands performing before her. This was the only downside since I had to teenagers with me who had to be up for school at 6a.. The second group to come on, Eric Hutchinson was great. When Kelly finally appeared around 9:15 p.m. she rocked the house. Her energy and talent is unbelievable. Her band and back up singers were outstanding. Her songs are almost anthem like. They make you think. She does not seem to be phased by her Idol stardom and seems to remain very "real". Her voice just keeps getting better and better. Great time by all!!

I wasn't expecting much, considering it was at the old coliseum. But Kelly Clarkson kept the place hopping the entire time. She is so engaging that you really didn't notice the old, broken down building. The sound was good and the "real" Clarkson fans never sat down! She is a very down to earth, sincere performer that is extremely talented. Thank you for making it a very memorable night.

as ususal kelly is one great performer. she is talkative during performance and makes you feel like a friend. she laughs at herself, sang requests. and sings hit after hit after hit. has fan interact with her. also did some blues and accoustic performances that were great. changes up tempo on some of her hits which is cool. has kept original bandmembers and backup singer for years which is awesome. kelly clarkson will be around for years, remember she has sold millions of albums-for a reason. admits she doesnt write alot of happy songs but sang the ones she has.

Kelly's voice was amazing. As far as the set, I was sitting in a bad location to the right of the stage so was disappointed that she didn't come over and sing our direction. She just sang straight ahead. The lighting from what I could tell was good. Next time we go I'm going to pick a seat that I can see the entire stage. I would recommend it. Sucks she didn't allow video recording.

This concert was THE BEST. She has got some pipes on her and it was evident with the crowd. Everyone was on their feet for the ENTIRE concert. Great energy, good music. THe BEST.
