It was great! I went for the highschool races at the beginning (4 pm), it was pretty empty at that time so I was able to move all the way up to the front-row boxes. The show was well organized and moved through the events quickly. Definitely recommend for any track & field fan/athlete :)

I had not attended an indoor track meet at the Garden for many years. It is a genuine pleasure to report that it is just as spectacular today as any I witnessed then. The interplay of the sprinting, hurdling, distance running, high jumping, Pole Vaulting (a new development: the women pole vaulters- such grace and strength!), following by the mad whirlwind of the relay races at the end of the evening. It was magnificent.

My 13th appearance in the last 15 years. Took my brother for the first time. Loved it - great meet, great theatrics, great atmosphere, great production. This event should never die. An iconic athletic event in my opinion.

As a big track and field fan, I always enjoy the Millrose games. Glad they had some real competition for Bernard Lagat this year --- the Wanamaker Mile should always go down to the last few strides. Good field for the ladies' pole vault, and the high school 4x800's were very entertaining. I could do without the "pump up the volume" artificiality of the shot put -- those guys are great to watch by themselves without need for the loud music; when I want go to a rock concert, I go to a rock concert. Fastest Kid on the Block is always fun.

It is a great track and field event. Wonderful watching Ashton Eaton compete and how supportive Harry Marra is as his coach. What an athlete. Could have lived without the band -- seemed unnecessary and out of place at a T & F event. MSG is a great venue for the competition. Fun watching the little kids and the NYC fire and police departments compete.

Very disappointing. Few compelling races, a lot of fluff, an annoying background music trac, and a weird band. It wasn't really a track meet- I am not sure what it was- and it was half empty. It used to feature great races, more relays, a better field, no music, and it used to be sold out. At a minimum, why not fill it up with youth groups to build interest. Go back to quality races and drop the circus music.

Beacause I am a track and field junkie, and have been to the yearly event for years now, I would recommend the event to track enthusiasts. However, this year, in particular, many of the well-known runners from years past were not running in the events this year and that was disappointing. Makes it not worth the high cost of our particular tickets.

I have attended the Millrose Games with my 80 year old father for almost 20 years.
I understand the need to attract and retain younger sports fans. But the music was unnecessarily loud - both during changeovers and during the event itself. We couldn't hear the announcing of the athletes. The people behind us - men in their 40s and 50s - were saying the same thing.
My father and I had to leave the arena while the band was playing. We both agreed that perhaps we'd reconsider going in future years if this is the trend.
