Location:Maryland suburbs of DC
Saw Mr. Biss in DC at the 6th & I Synagogue. He played 2 Beethoven Sonatas, and two short pieces each by Chopin and Janacek. Although I had never heard of him before, I was utterly seduced by his playing, especially the Beethoven. One of the Janacek pieces which is infrequently heard was also seducing. The audience was extremely enthusiastic in showing its appreciation. I would highly recommend going to see him or purchasing his CDs.
