Entertaining, talented cast present well scripted lines usually sung to familiar songs. Think Wierd Al Jakovich with a little more high brow humor. Definately written not to offend anyone.

We thought Capitol Steps was very well done! The whole show was hilarious & the actors were superb! Their voices were great & the impressions were right on. "President Obama " was wonderful. It was a very entertaining evening.

I love how this performance group always tries to stay current and relevant. The way they adapt clever wording to established melodies is genius and hilarious! I have seem them live three times and every time I have laughed the whole way through the show.

I would like to review this program, however, I ended up being hospitalized tthrough the emergency room of a local hospital on Friday and was not released until Sunday meaning I missed the production. Unfortunately, I did not take out the insurance for $28 and thus lost the cost of four tickets. Wish I could recover this with the note from my doctor.
However, this group is usually excellent and so that is what I would still expect.

You simply can't miss this. For anyone remotely politically informed, this will leave you in hysterics. Not only is the humor quick and steady coming, they actors and actresses are incredibly talented. I live here in the district, and have every intention of returning with more out of town guests. What a night that was. Make time for this one!

They are always a funny group with satire on all the current events. They sing so fast at times it is hard to catch each and every word. Maybe sitting closer to the stage would enable you to understand all the words in the satire. We love to hear them every 3-5 years.

This was the funniest show I have ever seen. I laughed out loud more than I can ever remember doing. I was concerned that it was just going to be a lot of bashing of political parties, but instead it was pretty smart humor and it covered a wide variety of global topics. And it was incredibly un-politically correct, which is a good thing, in my opinion. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

The Capitol Steps is a hilarious musical satire incorporating all of the current political headlines. We especially enjoyed Matt Pearson's performance. His imitation of President Obama is spot on. We would encourage anyone visiting the DC area to see this show.
