I can't wait for this group to come back again. This was one of the most energetic, fun, cool shows I've ever attended! His Flight of the Bumblebee is awe inspiring. If you get the chance, just go. Don't ponder. You might miss out.

This was a great show whether you were there foir the Christmas theme, because your a Setzer/Stray Cats fan or both. I grew up on Long Island when the Stray Cats were in their heyday. Compared to 30+ years ago this was a higher quailty show in every way possible. Setzer is a true professional and you can tell he loves what he's doing. I hope he makes the Allen Event Center an annual stop with this show. We didn't bring my five year old daughter because we sat in the front row and I was afraid it would be too loud for her. Because of the quality of the musical arrangments and the talent that was on stage playing as loud as possible just wasn't necessary. It was a comforatable, fun high energy show. Better than I had anticipated.

I've been a fan of Brian Setzer since the early days of the Stray Cats. The guy is definitely "real". A true artist and seemed to be truly appreciative of the audience.
This marked the third time I've seen the BSO Christmas show at the Ryman. It has stayed basically the same show over the years, but changes and improves enough every time to keep me coming back. This year's show was heavily laden with Setzer's guitar solos. At first i was afraid that so many guitar solos would get boring - Was I ever wrong! I wasn't bored for a second.
I don't want to conclude without saying how great the orchestra and backup singers were. These folks are the cream of the crop. it was fun seeing Setzer's wife return as one of the vocalists. As always, the sound was outstanding as well. Also enjoyed the opening act "Totsy". They were lots of fun.

....and I've seen Brian Setzer a lot! If I could have given this a 10-star rating, I would have. Brian was on his game with that guitar playing all sorts of extra riffs throughout the songs. This show was truly amazing, as my five star rating suggests. And let's not forget those horn players! They add to an already incredible show. There were Christmas songs, Setzer hits, Stray Cats hits, a rockablilly trio, you name it and he threw it in there. I've never come out of a Setzer show disappointed, but I never thought I would walk out on this last night of the tour on cloud 9! If you've never seen Brian Setzer and like fun, upbeat music, go see him. He provides a very lively show!

I've seen BSO many times since 1995 - this one was one of the best - the band was very tight, and Brian was amazing (as always). Brought my family too - and the kids loved it.

I think this is my eighth or ninth year I have gone to this show and it is still awesome. It is up beat, exciting and fun from beginning to end. I highly recommend attending and if you are a swing dancer, the pit is where to be. I have brought many friends through the years and they always have a great time.

I have seen this show four tImes now. It just seems to get better every year!! It is the "it's a Wonderful Life" of concerts. You just need to see it very year. Also, the opening group Totsy was really good also. Just a great night!!!!

I brought my two children with me from Oklahoma to Texas to share my love of Brian Setzer. It was a fantabulous evening. The variety in the music from Christmas to Stray Cats was a joy to be around. The whole arena was into the songs and Brian Setzer turned every song into a guitar solo and shared the stage with his other muscians as well. His love and passion for the music resonated throughout the whole event center. I wish I knew someone that talented or passionate about anything as he is about Rockabilly!!

This was one of the best shows I've ever seen and I've seen many in the last 40+ years of concert going. Brian is one talented guy and has an awesome band! This is a very entertaining show! It's so wonderful that The BSO keeps this type of music alive today because of all the little to no talent acts out there these days. These guys and gals are the real deal!

Later in the show, Brian sends the orchestra off and just him and the drummer and stand up bass player put on a great Rock A Billy show ala Stray Cats. They rock the house!

I highly recommend this show if you haven't seen them before and the opening act, Totsy, was also entertaining and quite unique!

1.45 hours or Vegas like showmanship. Great range of music from Christmas favorites, Rockabilly favorites that made you love the Stray Cats originally, awesome swing that had people dancing in the aisles and believe it or not the. Nutcracker Suite. Amazing talent and arrangements.
