Blues Bash Was Boring and Forgettable!!!!

First and most importantly....the sound system SUCKED !!!! There seemed to be utter confusion in between EVERY act! Most of the minor artists sang to recorded musical tracks...or attempted to anyway. One of the female artists had to cut her act short because the supposedly sound guys could not get her music to play. And speaking of singing to recorded music and not having a band....there were toooooo many artists on the show that DID NOT have a live backing band!!! Mel Waiters,Jeff Floyd,Kenne Wayne and Wilson Meadows were good but not great.....mainly due to the terrible,terrible sound system. The event was entirely too long......became boring after a while. If this is to be an annual event and if changes are not made to it's format....I WILL NOT attend it again !!!!!

I have gone to several Blues Show and this was the MOST disappointing show ever. I had taken my mom, whom LOVES the Blues, and I was so embarrassed. Whom ever booked the group "RUDE" should never book another Blues Show. When the act called "RUDE" came on stage, I really thought they were kidding. Grown Folks came out to have a good time, not to see a 3-Ring Circus! Don't ever do that again. By the time Mel Waiters came on stage, I was done. I love Mel but I couldn't take it anymore.

The entire show was unprofessional, unorganized, and embarrassing! Tell someone to make sure they have an "MC" and please play some music between sets. It will be awhile before I go to another Blues Show.
